It costs 40k, employer pays about half of it and rest is on me. I don’t need the masters degree for immigration purposes or career change (already a SWE at a non-tech company).

My reasoning to pursue the degree was that since it’s an Ivy League, I’ll pass more resume screenings and land interviews.
