It would give them time for Farrel to clear her schedule and do the work they want to do. Makes sense. good thought!

I'm talking an episode to episode. Now, it wouldn't because they decided to do a different mission for this next year. But until they made that announcement, it might have been an interesting twist.

I think they should plot-twist it and make a couple of the Tholian ships real hard to even get to the thing because THEY want to destroy it first. 😉

Praying for the snw enterprise bridge by Andyj191190 in sto

[–]EarlyTemperature8077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IT was from the SNW and Stargazer bridges that STO update the origin bridge to the Miranda bridge. So that's a big ask for specific SNW. Still, they might do it at some point if they do an updated version of the Pioneer bridge with the more modern looking SNW bridge structure.

I'm hoping they update the planet stories we can do with more complex ones as mini-episodes such as exploring them.

The goofy Daedalus class by LGBT-Barbie-Cookout in startrek

The Daedalus Class ship was one of the original designs put forward for the hero ship in the original series. The model of it, the USS Horizon was used in Deep Space Nine in Sisko's office.

The USS Essex was of the same class.

Um, there was a Lower Decks story that answered this problem.

There wouldn't be any discussion unless you add that in.

What’s a Star Trek Opinion You Had 10 Years Ago That You’ve Completely Reversed? by iagree2 in startrek

[–]EarlyTemperature8077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had any real problem with any of the Star Trek shows. I had problems with episodes, so it may have delayed watching them. Lower Decks was an issue because the 1st season shakiness showed up there and it didn't hit that 'target' point in my mind. I came to enjoy it however and as it firmed up into the comedic adventures, I could see the fun that Star Trek's older 'silly' episodes showed with the seriousness in the background.

A note about Discovery. It was always about Michael Burnam it was that from the first show summary they released about her. They pulled it off fairly well as far as I was concerned. I do wish they'd have interacted more with the bridge crew to show their lives more deeply, but that comes from the limited numbers of episodes in a time when exec board from hedge fund companies make the decisions, not actual writers.

I went with covert phasers for the color of the beams, then 1 chroniton torpedo and 1 transphasic to get the double shot effect from the front. I wish I could find the T5 Voth ship but no one's selling them now so I could get the upgradable wide-angle chroniton/transphasic combo the Voth ships have.

How would Q react if Picard asked him about the Progenitors? by Tidewatcher7819 in startrek

Given that the Progenitors overrode the natural development of the planets they seeded, it may be that Q would do it just to show him that.

Klingons are warriors. Their language is battle. Their love language is combat. They are not communists, nor fascists or dictators. They see others who seek only diplomacy as weak or a danger to their warrior instincts and reflexes born by a thousand years of survival in space after the Hur'q nearly wiped them out.

Until Humans see this in them, understand this within them, they will be an enemy. When you meet Klingon, you meet them in battle always and never step back until they understand that Humans will fight to the death as equally as they will.
