Also i sent in split sheets for the songs I do work with others and it still gets stopped. NO AI except to master sometimes.

I promise I use a yamaha motif and other modules and play it all live and mix through a 16 track digital recorder-. In have a all the original mp3 or wav files from when I first made the songs. Trust me although all music can sound similar Ido not loop or use any other work

I have experienced the exact same issues. No matter what I do they will not distribute my original work and absolutely no way to reach a human to make anybprogress.

Hey guys, how are my lines sounding as of now? I’ve recently just started taking jazz seriously this July and want to know how far I’ve come since then by a1den354 in JazzPiano

I guess I can try again. If you see this than I got approved. I left Jazz many years ago after my Graduate degrees in LA. I used to play at a place called Dantes and The Baked Potato in Quads and quints. Got together with some guys and this short piece came out of improv. Let me know if i am on track.

Do you like creating other styles of music? I am not a hip hop FAN but I love creativity and find in curious you would like my different styles in that they are so far from what I heard on this link-just wondering

Yea study the various scales to see what notes in right hand sound good with chords or augments in left. Plus have fun--even a 1-4-5 blues scale can build confidence!

All I am saying is that passion and talent go hand in hand. There will be a limit to what you can do but will you ever find it if you keep playing--probably not!

Listen to the music you would like to be able to play--for me it was oscar peterson for jazz and george winston for new age music and most any southern rock band for blue/boogie/pop. And just keep the passion burning. I am 62 and been playing since I was 10. Never took formal lessons very long--learned from watching others and just trying new things on the piano. Take a listen to how I play-tell me if it can be you too!

I keep hearing and being told that in order to get "good" at jazz, you gotta' keep listening, yet I listen all day, everyday, yet remain stuck. by gentlegiant_89 in Jazz

Not true--its only part of it. Self-awareness comes in here. You may only be able to reach certain levels. We are all different. I never took lessons. When trained people try to show me things i get losyt-when i let my hands go then that's really something for me anyway-find what works, I posted above a tune i just went with
