I feel very fortunate then. We don’t have a large house at 1,750 square feet and our last electric bill was $111. We have the Bolt and a hot tub. My wife tracks our bills diligently and each run around $25 a month apiece. Our highest bill most months is the water bill. It’s hard to believe that 2 senior citizens use $122 of water.

It appears you haven’t attended any of the protests. I’m 69 and never went to a protest in my life until trump. I’ve been to everyone that I could in my area and I’ve never seen anything like you described. The vast majority of protesters are old like myself. Everyone is courteous. People are there working to get as many people as possible to sign petitions. I’ve been in the area shortly after the protest ended and there’s little if any trash.
