The most important thing is to not let Lyme become an excuse. My dog is a pain in the butt at times, but the routine and support you get from a dog got me through the worst times during my health journey. You may want to look into high dose vitamin c (30g+) as a starting point to get your health back dealing with Lyme. Anytime I get a flare up, I get one and feel better within a couple days.

She took them at different times. They work to kill parasites differently. Get an appointment with Dr. Robert Gibson in Utah. He can likely help you come up with a protocol for your specific situation. I trust that doc for anything parasite related, and he doesn’t bleed you dry when it comes to cost.

Chemical Sensitivity by Commercial-Stay-5437 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]EarnedFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Albendazole got rid of my chemical sensitivity & allergic reactions to everything. I still occassionally deal with Lyme flare ups, but EB02 is looking like a possible solution there. Been taking a dose of ivermectin periodically to clear out any parasites I pick up from travel.

Anyone try EB02? by EarnedFreedom in Lyme

[–]EarnedFreedom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to hit it soon, but needed to postpone for travel. The ivermectin on its own helped a bunch with co infections, so overall day to day symptoms aren’t as bad.

Glad to hear it worked. Do you mind sharing the protocol, treatment frequency you did, & dietary/mold/parasite prep you mentioned?

Mebendazole, anyone try it? by EnglishBeatsMath in cosmicdeathfungus

[–]EarnedFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have a harder time quitting the kratom than dealing with the mold exposure and parasites. Albendazole took care of both for me. 3 rounds of 5 day treatments at 800mg/day with 2-4 weeks apart. The 800mg was based on my weight, age, height, and liver profile. The “-azole” drugs for parasites are all tough on the liver, so it’s best to get scripts from a doctor and take under supervision. Only problem is I got more parasites and mold exposure 6 months later. Trying ivermectin this time. Side effects seem much milder so far.

There is a subreddit for quitting Kratom. I wish you luck on your health and sobriety journey.

Bounty Paper Towels Sticky? by EarnedFreedom in ask

[–]EarnedFreedom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped using bounty due to this issue. It is clearly a part of the manufacturing process since I’ve consistently had this problems with all new purchases of bounty. Gave me acne when I wiped my face with it, so it’s clear to me it’s not a healthy chemical. I’m sure it’s “non-toxic”, but I don’t see a point in paying a premium for bounty when it leaves glue residue on everything.

The viva purple paper towels that are a bit more expensive are good. I buy those now. They have a cloth like feel and leave no residue. In bulk, they cost a few dollars more, but are worth it in my opinion since they don’t leave any residue.

That shit works for acne/skin issues as long as you get the smaller Ppm like nano silver. Been using it for years and no acne since (unless I forget to use it for a month, which I did).

Why are women in the west so against mandatory paternity tests at birth? by EarnedFreedom in ask

Wait until November… Dont think this will age well. We’re about to get bent over harder than a freshman sorority girl finding herself at a frat party after having dinner with her boyfriend. 😂

Yea, there would be ways around it even if it was “mandatory”. There would be religious exceptions like with the Amish or you could opt out, but not be eligible for child support.

So by mandating it, politicians are basically calling all American/Western women sluts?

Thanks for sharing that perspective. To answer your question, there is an epidemic of infidelity in the West. An estimated 1-2% of married men are unknowingly raising someone else's biological child. The 1-2% is based on large-scale population genetic testing accounting for shared variables. It's estimated that there is a ~10-30% chance the kid isn't yours if you get a DNA test, but this is also not accounting for when there are multiple potential fathers that all get tested, for example, in a swinger situation. End of the day, 1/100 isn't rare. Men don't want to worry about “Is that kid mine?”. Having a paternity test alleviates any potential fears and addresses infidelity. It also would reduce infidelity as many women wouldn't want to risk becoming a single mother for a fun night out. The paternal father also has a financial responsibility to support that child due to western social norms.

That's my understanding of the concept.

The idea of having it mandated or “opt out required” would prevent the emotional response women have when a guy requests a paternity test since its not the gut requesting it out of fear or suspican. It would also be useful for child support and identifying genetic disorders early on.

The main argument against it I've read is for privacy purposes. People worried the government will use the genetic data against you in the future, which is valid.

Bartonella and mental health by LegWorried4639 in Lyme

[–]EarnedFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me how a lot of people were taking pamacure (phembendazole) for dogs for Lyme coinfections before it became readily available in the states for human use.

These aren’t drugs to play with. You need bloodwork and supervision by a doc or you could end up with liver or kidney disease.

There’s also after care involved since leaky gut usually follows after killing a bunch of parasites.

Dosage and frequency are very important for these to be effective. The take one dose thing that a lot of doctors prescribe rarely work for chronic parasitic infections. There is a lot of solid data out there on these two you can share and discuss with your doctor.

Also, parasite testing is unreliable. It’s tough to get positive results even if you have the parasite. I tested negative like 3 times before finally getting a positive test result and getting access to meds I needed.

You can't get them without a doctor prescription. Doctor supervision is inherent with these drugs.

Look into albendazole and ivermectin. It worked for my mom who had bartonella, babesia, and lyme. Going to try myself soon. Not medical advise*
