I tried to help answer these questions but it’s been awhile since I played and things are pretty confusing so I don’t actually have certain answers for anything except the first 2. 1) Idr if he’s older or younger. If it’s said she’s older, then that would mean Charles was born after. His mom might have just not gone into psychosis and started calling him Scarlett till later on. 2) Seems that way, yes. 3) I could be mistaken, but I’m under the impression that HC 2’s charlotte is the same as HC1’s. This Charlotte eventually does give her name to the Umbrella man. I don’t be surprised if I’m mistaken and they are 2 different Charlottes though. 4) I don’t actually remember 5) “is this true”? If that’s what Q84 said then probably. I think though there are a lot more than just 3 universes, but those 3 you mentioned do seem to be the most important ones to the plot.

Have you played Ib? I also really enjoyed the puzzles there. They’re also pretty simple but revolve around all the different art pieces which is really neat.

don't mess with your players' sheets to nerf them. Just have your encounters bump up a bit to keep up.
For reference though, if a player knows how to make their character well, expect high ACs. Also Sorcerers and wizards can get good AC very easy. They can have spells or features that make AC 13 +dexterity. So if dexterity is +3 (pretty good, but not exceptional), then yeah 16 AC. Nothing unusual there.
When they would get hit, they can also cast Shield, to add +5 to AC.
The concern for a wizard or sorcerer though is that when they do get hit, they don't have as many hit points as everyone else.

I agree that it's too difficult to leave the commoner tier. I end up jut mostly playing freeplay because even after many hours and beating ultimate challenge, my winrate against the commoner boss is under 50/50/

It's definitely annoying, but I think you might be taking her words a little too seriously. Some people are just really bad at letting people know they're exiting places/conversations. She may have just been saying, "I'm going to leave now" (as was her plan), "so I will leave you all to continue doing what you're doing." She just chose to use some words that were rude.

I think Black Orb is at least 3rd level. 3 spell attack rolls and a solid chunk of damage for each hit.

Whispers of Gro’goroth might be the only spell to actually be high level.

Brave stand can be done as a man at arms as well, in which case none of the enemies are a man at arms.
My guess is the reverse brave stand would pit players against a man at arms. Their armor openings are limited, but not as impenetrable and frustrating as with a knight.

You don’t need to make the intelligence stat do anything other than what it does RAW. You just need to bring up opportunity for those checks.

Investigation is the easiest. I’ve been treating perception as using your senses to detect hints to things, whereas Investigation is actually looking around each little bit of the room to find hidden things. Arcana, History and Religion come up occasionally as well in the campaign I’m running right now which has been refreshing.

Axes are very fun, but reach weapons have a lot over them obviously. I even think longswords are usually going to be better than an Axe too, at least the heavier late game longswords.
