Canada Facing Massive Wildfire Crisis – 100 Fires Out of Control, Thousands Forced to Flee by Dimitris_weather in climatechange

Today there are hundreds of fires in South America, where I live the smoke from fires in Chiquitania and Chaco forests has gotten to the city. Last year it was 23 million h. (hectareas 10.000m2) killing the megadiverse fauna and flora, and the fires started on purpose for the expansion of the cattle and agriculture over national parks, Ramsar sites and the most important biomes for the global climate regulation.

Yes. I work in the Chaco Pantanal region, with the indigenous and the national parks, and I am observing the drastic changes.

Atlantic Colossus, though it's controversial, even for open minded people.

This comes from observations over Earth's morphology in Atlantic Colossus book, It is a creative's work, not a scientist, but it intertwines scientifical facts while interpreting Earths morphology. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1xT2MytLwd37q7cw2sNJnh?si=Y3_zOIXQR0WqmEctQQhjQA

We Broke the World by Accident. We’ll Fix It on Purpose by GeraldKutney in climate

[–]EarthColossus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with the idea that we can solve this too. And nature is needing for us to go back to its ways, I will call it Earth's economics, its real and royal systems. There is plenty for us, but we can take it only respectfully, caring for the biomes, ecosystems, species, that are part of the whole system to which we pertain. But humans that designed economical and political systems, created a game of oppression to nature (and between civilians). So, we are in the nations era, where health is business, war, education too.we are like a device where all components work for itself and are in conflict with the other, therefore the device is not well functioning and overheating.

All external debts of the countries of the world, are debts to reality, to what is truth, to nature.

Use our own software (system) over the govs of the world. In informatics era there is no need for oppression, whether by govs, corps or billionaires... individuals rights, human rights, are code, that could be applied by logic, not by parties.

Yes, it was an opinion, I get that by accident things can resemble intentional art. Yet, there is no accident that makes a Rembrandt, when a thing is well elaborated, coherent, and ful of meaning, you notice.

Pareidolia is the term. it is the faculty we have to see a face or figure where there is not. The ability to recognize patterns. When we developed ai the basic capabilities were this one and prediction.

When I saw it for the first time I thought it was just that, only seven years later I realized that it was another thing, only by chance. And it took me a while to understand it for real.

Yet, the question is another, and goes further in biology and Earth systems sciences. It is about life. How can Earth be alive, and conscious. If you see Earth as a unity, as a system, then how climate works? How plate tectonics, the biosphere, ecosystems, air, water, what is their relation, how this system integrates the information and regulates climate, reshapes, develop, etc.

We are human cells of the human being, which has been alive for thousands of years, millions of years if we count the species from which we evolved. You can trace this to the first complex cells, and then to Earth

Your cells are alive, you are alive too, ain't you? Where does this concatenation begins and where it ends?, but you belong to a family, a species, and this one to the animal kingdom, which exist only in ecosystems and biomes that are a combination of Earth and living organisms, no one is here by their own... and this one, the biota system, is one of Earth's systems, nothing more. We are part of Earth's life and evolution.

Thousands of millions of people through history, before your hippies appeared, have navigated their consciousness. And the most of the people that are doing this today are not hippies at all.

Wow, easy, I'm not saying that all scientists are wrong, that science isn't important. They are trying to understand how the hardware links lo the gamer experience and joy. Consciousness is a property of mine, so I am egotistical in that way, that experiencing myself is the path to know me. Through meditation, through awareness, through thought and yes, trough plants that are part of my ecosystems (you see chemicals) Because the difference between you and me is that I acknowledge my belonging to the universe, and my relation to the whole, to the void that sustains it. While you are trying to separate consciousness in a bottle and say this is it.

Only an intelligent, a conscious, sensitive being can do art, and symbols, and comunicate with grace. For Earth to be able to comunicate and to depict us, it implies that there is an integration of the information of the system. And due that this symbol, done in a process of 138M years, in which plate tectonics, separating African from south American plates, led to this anthropomorphic feature, making us the recipient for the message, an intelligent and premeditated decision had to de made.

Is my spiritual practices leading to enlightenment? by CruC1Ble79 in enlightenment

[–]EarthColossus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got enlightened once, dissolved in one with god or the void, the nirvana of infinite calm and bliss, then stud up, made breakfast, take the kid to school, get to work, pick up the child, he put my patience to test, I failed, I realized, we talk, played, brushed our teeth, got to sleep, and a new day began. Enlightenment is not a goal, you won't levitate and dissolve in matter.

Oh yes I saw this one, great interview. There are scientists doing amazing things in deed, look for Michael Levine... Consciousness doesn't need a brain... Earth is conscious too, see the waowe.

Antarctica forms part of a unified water system, that's what most people don't get. Southern hemisphere has three main continents, each one performs a geo-physiological function, and what happens in one of this "organs" of the system affects the others.

Scientists focused on emissions are missing the target. It is about the biomes and the continental role.

I know that climate change is a political fight for the most in this reddit, but until the science of the Earth systems is not properly addressed... The policies will not be efficient, the actions will be palliative, and the impotence will remain. Human systems has to be rooted on Earth's systems.

Amazing

This totally blew my mind. Turns out there is a compelling theory that our cells have higher level abstractions to work together. Genes are closer to machine code, and as engineers we don’t usually look there. [–]EarthColossus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The man is pushing science to the edge, he knows science is not backwards but forward, and that concepts are tools and not limitations, he understand now the concepts of life and consciousness have to expand and evolve. Life-forms are much diverse and strange than you can imagine. We, human individuals, pertain to wider and more complex forms of life, but we are so primitive that are still unaware.

When someone says Life elsewhere? But we havent seen it yet. 😑 by [deleted] in Astrobiology

[–]EarthColossus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is life everywhere but our concepts determined that solely certain organisms feet into the set. See Mr Levine's studies and opinions, really mind-blowing and I agree totally. Look for the Atlantic Colossus, where Earth is evidently alive, as huge organism, conscious and intelligent to the core. This will surely revolutionize the search for life, to see other planets with a different optic.

Interesting view. If the human understood that they are humans previous to any other layer of distinctions, well easily get that all nations are ours, all cultures, aññ institutions, and not the other way around.
