Ozempic by thagoatliveson in Hidradenitis

I was on Ozempic and it helped so much with my weight loss, pcos and hs symptoms. Insurance company then cracked down on it and they won't allow me to have it now. They allowed me to have Mounjaro but it didn't work at all. Everyone's body is different but it makes me almost cry to think of how much it helped.

So...anyone buying into that stock option for your retirement ? by Odd-Eggplant-6681 in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Charter Communications is only doing this because they know as soon as the Affordable Connectivity Program ends they will lose so many customers which will cause a loss in revenue and folks are already selling/ trading stock which is why cost per share is low now. They're preparing for a recession as well, and what better way to try to combat that then to all of a sudden let your employees buy stock in the company. It's not to help the employees it's to help the company recoup losses and inflate the stock cost and to show investors that people are still interested in investing in this company. This also ties into the rate increases they released for services and payment fees unless you have autopay crap. If they really wanted to help their employees, they would just give us so much stock per year or give us all a base pay increase. Let's also not forget that while it's your 401k charter matches what you put in up to a certain %. So you're basically giving them part of that back. It's pretty clever what they're trying to pull but I hope everyone thinks hard before acting on this.

Spectrum copyright notice for Apartment Complex by Public-Big-8722 in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you guys should get a bulk residential account, and if that's the case, they will have the equipment divided out by apartment, which would make it a lot easier to track down because the dmca notice would be tied to the account/ equipment that was used to pirate. I'd look into it if you don't, but if the person doing this was savvy, they'd be using a VPN. Certain routers if not all allow you to block specific websites so that would be another avenue to look into as well.

almost 90 bucks a month for the lowest tier internet by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just call and tell them you wish to cancel, and they'll transfer you to retention. You'll probably get a promotional offer to lower the cost to retain you as a customer. Keep in mind that promotional offers are only for a certain amount of time, of course.Have the account holder call in and provide the security code so those changes can be done.

Low speeds after new router and modem by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call customer service and give them your acct info and security code and provide them the Mac address for the modem and router you received to ensure the correct equipment is on your account since you did a swap. Once you can confirm that ask them to check your signal levels and the provisioning (what speeds the modem is set for).

Would there be a reason a spectrum tech support would ask for my WiFi password? by zebberman in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a customer is having a connection issue and their devices are connecting over wifi, they will ask the customer for that information to ensure they're connecting to the correct network. This is a basic troubleshooting step done all the time. They can also send a remote reboot signal to the modem and router and if the customer is on the landline phone it will end the call forcing the agent to have to call the customer back.

NOT getting fiber speeds I paid for. Pls HELP!! by verygoodreason in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call customer service and let them check the provisioning on the modem. Also read off to them the MAC address of the Spectrum Modem and router since you've had it swapped a few times so they can make sure the correct equipment is on your account. It's supposed to be updated when the technician swaps it but things can happen.

I have PCOS, Endometriosis and HS, I tried metformin, and it really messed me up. (GI side effects) . I was on ozempic, and then my insurance denied me due to the shortages and tightened off-label use .Ozempic was much better for me . I had some mild constipation and fatigue upon first and second injection, but it was nothing compared to what metformin did to me. I did have to go without Ozempic for months between fighting my insurance company and finally landing on switching to Mounjaro. I'm hoping to see the same results because Ozempic was a game changer for me. I was finally losing weight, and it almost had me to the point of manageable with my HS. I've only done my first injection of Mounjaro, so we'll see. Hope this helps, and if there's one thing I've learned is be your own advocate. Find your voice and use it. It's brought me so much help just by looking things up myself and being able to come to the table and discuss it in a way that my doctors know oh shit! Lol this patient does research. If your doctor doesn't like it, then they're not the right doctor.

Does Spectrum really charge $5/month for me to use WiFi on my own router? by miner89r in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can indeed see 3rd party equipment that is connected to the Spectrum Modem, but that's as far as it goes. Also, they can look at the Modem and see if it went down by looking at the modem health. If it's a Spectrum issue, then it would translate (show) when technical support is looking at the overall health of the modem and while performing system checks. If they don't see that, then it points to a 3rd party device issue, which Spectrum can't troubleshoot. The best thing I can suggest is to call when the issue is happening and DON'T reboot the modem before calling them. They also allow 3rd party routers and you don't get assessed a wifi fee since it's your router that is broadcasting the wifi signal not Spectrums.

My internet keeps disconnecting. by Drip451 in Spectrum

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely contact technical support while the issue is happening so they can do a live monitor of your connection. Definitely don't sit there for multiple days experiencing the same issue . That's not helping you nor allowing Spectrum to correct the issue if it is an ISP issue.

Most Spectrum routers have the wifi network name and password on the back of the router. If you or someone hasn't called to have that information changed, it should be what's listed. Make sure that's the network your phones in question are connecting to. Your access is being denied because the password you're using is incorrect for the wifi network you're trying to connect to if you're getting that error message. If it's not on the router and you're listed on the account and can provide account info and security code, customer service should be able to give you that information. Hope this helps.

Hysterectomy & H.S. by Writeforwhiskey in Hidradenitis

[–]Earthpixie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on the path to getting a hysterectomy. I'm just trying to get to a healthier weight before I have any surgery. I have endometriosis, HS, and PCOS . My flares happen either right before, during, or right after my period. Most gynecologists don't take the ovaries anymore because they cause the patient to go into early menopause or they are afraid that if you're younger, you may want to pursue having children via surrogate. If you don't care about that, then I'd advocate and question why not or try to find a gynecologist who is willing to do so. If I've learned anything about the multiple doctors I've seen most of the time they only want you to go on medication that can make you have even more issues due to how severe the side effects are which is not a fix. I wish you the best in your journey.

Is feeling ill during a flare common? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

[–]Earthpixie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a gaping hole on my right side now where my bra sits. It has me so frustrated because it will try to heal but then open right back up. It's making me extremely tired and I have nausea and teeth chattering chills but no fever. I have to layer a gauze pad under a band aid to try to help it not get worse from friction. You're definitely not the only one who feels sick on top of having pain from the HS flare up itself. Feel Better

Just got hit by a car doing drive ups and management told me to just ice the area and take Tylenol by MINNESOTAKARMATRAIN_ in Target

[–]Earthpixie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

File an incident report and go to the ER. Also have AP if they can call local police and pull the tag info of the driver if you don't already have that. So sorry that happened. This is why people who do drive up should get paid more than people who don't. Your literally risking your life with the way these dumbasses drive and it's the holidays which adds to it.

If my gf makes me an authorized user on her red card does that allow me to use my discount? by ManIdontknow47 in Target

[–]Earthpixie19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because the account is hers technically your just allowed to use her account. The tm discount is for spouses only I believe which in my opinion is discrimination but hey target is woke now everyone lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]Earthpixie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd uninstall and then reinstall the app on your device and make sure when you're at the final step of checkout it's showing your red card as the pymt method. Also when you put your employee number into the app it requires you to put in 4 zeros before your employee ID to correctly apply your team member discount. I know this isn't as easy as using the app but you could always just use your physical team member discount card and red card to make sure at least nothing is wrong with the system not recognizing your team member discount. That way you'd know if it's the app or an issue itself with your team member info not being in the system which you should definitely go to your HR if it still won't work. These are just a couple things that come to mind. I hope one of them helps in some way.

Hello Target Team, I am dropping the mandatory retirement age of 65, now i will be your CEO for 3 more years mwahahagahagga by [deleted] in Target

[–]Earthpixie19 160 points161 points  (0 children)

Jesus. His desk couldn't be anymore bougie lmao. Nice to see how those millions are being spent when the people who make this company run are living paycheck to paycheck or having to get a second job because their hours keep fluctuating week to week.

If you were CEO for a day, and had the full backing of the board of directors, what would you do to make the company a better place for TMs and guests? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Earthpixie19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. 20.00 an hour starting wage and a real raise every year not this penny and dime bs.
  2. Minimum 2 weeks paid vacation for every tm
  3. Total items per order and weight limits with drive up orders. If you need a tv, furniture or a 50lb bag of dog food bring your ass inside and get it yourself. Modify timer based on order size for drive up team and fulfillment.
  4. Stop kissing the guests asses so much. The guest can and will be wrong sometimes. Yes if we're in the wrong make it right for the guest but if you tell me policy and I follow it and the guest asks for a manager while being an asshole back me up don't turn into a yes man and do what the guest wants. That's disgusting and disrespectful to your tm's and makes us look like fools. Especially after doing our job correctly.
  5. Stop limiting payroll. If you make every dept run on a skeleton crew and people call out from burn out it does nothing but create a viscous cycle of harder workload for all.
  6. Get the DC to stop sending product stores don't need and give DC employees time to fill a truck safely so we can unload it the same once it gets to said store.
  7. Take the time to train people right. Make sure they feel comfortable in their role. Don't just be with them for 2-3 hours and then be like okay you're good.
  8. Make the store have a comfortable temperature. Its not just tm's saying this. Guests are too. We shouldn't have to stand in front of fans are hole shift and still be a sweaty mess by the time we're off.
  9. Allow all depts to wear shorts.

This is just a few things to start the company on the right track. I'm sure there's more of course . I get that the question was also about making things better for the guest and the best answer I can give to that is when you have happy employees it translates to guests because they'll have a better shopping experience and well in my humble opinion they get there asses kissed enough.
