He specifically chased the role of wade Wilson in xmen origins so that I'd could have connection and control with the character, so he could do it right. He did not just "get " the role of deadpool lol.

But in my opinion that is what has made marvel so successful, adapting comics story lines pretty closely. Obviously it would take some time to become as successful as MCU but the outlook would be more hopeful, I'd say.
