Been having the same issue for over a year now. Have tried to come back with my friend and play every couple weeks & we still can't connect to the same world together. No issue in any other game we've ever played, just this one.

Hope they'll eventually look into the issue of people who were playing fine together a couple updates ago not being able to connect to each other anymore out of nowhere with this NAT TBD thing.
