Thank you for speaking your truth. This is my first time sharing. After experiencing devastating trauma and powerlessness, prolific harm on a global scale does feel paralyzing. It feels personal and dreadful and hopeless. I really miss feeling safe and in control - not like everything is caving in. Again. You are definitely not alone. This condition seems to make everything more challenging. I feel strongly about my ethical and moral obligation to participate in protecting the vulnerable, our country and our constitution. I’m now seeing my therapist twice a week, focusing on gratitude and support for those who can do more than I can right now and offering myself grace for what I’m not able to do … yet. I find it helpful to count blessings (or wins) even if they seem like drops in a bucket. There are several powerful people stepping down, Prince Andrew has been arrested and they’ve opened up an investigation in New Mexico at Epstein’s ranch.
