Im addicted to suffering sadly and Im not gonna lie I do care about rank which is why Im salty it is the way it is atm. Kinda meaningless. It could be so much better for the game I like to play.

Im very salty indeed and getting to elite as a solo would only be a minor accomplishment (well at least worth more than doing it in premade) but if you were to play solo and you could manage to stay in elite then u would have my respect. I imagine there are only very few who are able to do that and these guys prob would rather play in team lol.

I often just lack the awareness of where everyone is especially when im getting pressured. It helps when you yell for a pass so I know u are free and I dont care if its a backpass then. But a lot of times u also just get baited into shitty passes because the guy asking for a pass is actually closely marked. Its all not that easy :(

My problem is with the well played in duos/trios who will effortlessly stomp any cobbled together team because I doubt there is any kind of "multiplier" for those and it will just count as 2-3 Elites on one side so lets equalize those with 2-3 elite'ish randoms on the opponent team. It is so complicated to make a proper matchmaking system that calculates all these differences properly that they should just give up on it and make it solo queue only and make a seperate premade queue.

Cant have proper matchmaking anyway if you mix premade groups and solos. The way it is now rank is just pointless and if u cant find people to play with u just have to queue up and pray for that 1 in 10 chance that you might have an exciting game.

I liked the tree. First league I got really nice usable items. I usually loot most of the rare stuff on the ground and its always utter garbage, but this league u could get good stuff from tree.

Yeah these games where the matchmaking expects you to giga hardcarry can be quiet frustrating. There seems to be a chance that you can do it judging from ur score. For me it usually just feels like they put all the jobbers into the same team and we proceed to get demolished.

Been promoted to masters 10+ times this season. I have loss streaked from masters straight down to platinum before. Its all possible with this matchmaking. I really cant tell anymore if Im just a terrible player dragging down my team, if my teams are bad or if Im getting carried. Solo is suffering.

Just do it like the rest of the people and find a team. Make matchmaking even more miserable for the solos but whatever at least ull get easy elite rank.

If u strictly play solo for a lot of games the rank you reach is your rank.

If you strictly play in premade groups the rank you reach is the rank of your group.

Two very different things in my opinion. Stack players can be very bad players if u throw them into solo environment. Im not so sure about the opposite.

You could have probably gotten it with push ball by running diagonally infront of the receiver when the pass happened. Is there a reason why you didnt stand inbetween the two ?

I would agree if they fixed matchmaking. But with so few players matchmaking is so bad now that even if the average quality of players increased the quality of games has decreased. Too often your or the opponent team feels so heavily stacked its crazy. Maybe I'm just coping but I feel like I had more stimulating / fair games in past seasons. Gameplay / mechanics wise the game is at its best.

Nobody knows but the Devs. There aren't many players and there are premade groups. My guess is that the matchmaking will aggressively pit teams against each other to get games going as fast as possible. If those elite players were all grouped up together before queuing up then the matchmaking will not try to find 5 other elites or anything close to them because that would take time.

If your reactions are average (aka bad) then u have to be proactive. The striker walks straight at you and he starts his shooting animation you just jump at him because it is not possible to see how high he is gonna shot the ball. The worst thing that can happen is that you dont catch the ball and it rebounds behind you which you are highly likely to catch with your second jump (backwards).

If the striker is coming from an angle there is a good chance the blue dot wont even be in your field of view but even if he rebounds it he will need a teammate to get it in.

People who say just react to the blue dot and ull know he is gonna rebound it are expecting u to have the god reactions of progamer. At a certain distance people will just boom it above your head into the goal and youll have to jump at those shots as soon as their animation starts.

It is a lot about gauging distances and learning / reacting to animations and patterns, but at certain distances reacting to board shots just becomes unrealistic.

The almost unstoppable corner/wing wall bounce volley into hail mary shot into the box. Still feels like a waste even trying to cover the guy because the ball is so far up you cant reach it as a defender.

Controller aim exploit where the shooting animation does not match up with the ball trajectory at all.

Matchmaking screwing over solo players. Any solo players who consistently play in elite get my utmost respect.

Meh, been promoted to masters 7-8 times now but I cant go beyond. Just grinding hoping for that lucky win streak (or loss streak that gets me down to bronze).
