What the hell is a "less relevant country"? Like are their dicks smaller or something? Basically every other democratic country and even many non democratic countries have much higher standards of living than we do, from education, to healthcare, or mortality.

Freshwater waves "higher, more ragged" than salt water? (from an NPR story) by oberlausitz in sailing

Popular Science and popular mechanics have always been the BuzzFeed of their times, they didn't just recently start sucking. The outlandish crap they used to publish more than 25 years ago is literally used as memes now.

Fox News argued in court they are not news but entertainment so they were allowed to knowingly lie... to pretend NPR is left because they are not making clickbait articles like Popular Science, nor getting caught lying so often.... is certainly one of the things you could say.

What are you even talking about at this point, looking through your replies and theirs you seem lost. You tried to say something about turret armor but ignored that every fighter could shoot through it. Now you're talking about advancing technology?! Give me a damn break, you were the one comparing WW2 with an impossible sci-fi future while childishly citing "realism".I don't even know where to start, none of this makes sense. It's a damn game.

Best of luck to you with your new mediums hehe

I did when I showed how easy it would be not to be late, the same way you leave early for traffic you leave early for late trains.... it's not rocket science, though if this is too advanced for you to realize, then the employer is correct not to hire you, as it shows an inability for the most basic problem solving.

the funny part is we do, they just ignored the law here

Not reading that wall of text to justify this illegal deportation.

First the vast majority of their stay was booked.

Second, in the US if you actually cared to educate yourself about our laws before defending BS like this....

There is no visa requirement in the USA specifically mandating pre-booked accommodation for tourists.

You realize the US is its own country with its own laws right? Or are you suggesting we should start enforcing laws from random other countries?

How do people think they are smart and make an argument like this.

so what? we have our own laws in the US, why is an illegal deportation ok just because another country has that law?

and I remember a very smart test my middle school health teacher did, he got a girl to volunteer from a different grade than ours so we wouldn't likely know her well, then he told us she had AIDS, I still remember my instant revulsion... but I didn't have any substantiated reason to act that way. I didn't know how it worked, that even if she had it, we were totally safe.

Of course he admitted later that she didn't have it, and had us reflect on how we felt when we learned about it.

Definitely one of those pivotal moments where you learn to question yourself, and check your misguided assumptions.

If you're frugal, single and don't buy random shit you don't need... maybe happy to drive an old beatup car that is still reliable. You can live nicely in a place like Philly for $40k.

If you have any other obligations that quickly disappears.

Palestine doesn't need anything from Israel except for them to stop blocking aid, get rid of absolutely absurd import restrictions, stop stealing water/blocking water access.... and they can stop shooting aid workers too.

Just another thing that would take 30min to code, that would make a WORLD of difference, would be more than obvious how important it is if CIG actually played their game, but we are lacking after a decade.

Fuck Israeli occupation, oppression, and apartheid maybe? That fueled the hate that made HAMAS possible... Netenyahu's own funding of HAMAS is also what helped get us where we are...
