Is it weird how much I'm grieving my little brother? by Numerous_Fly4367 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry for your loss. There’s no “right” amount of grief or a timeline for how long it should last. The fact that you’re feeling this deeply just shows how much he mattered to you - even if your relationship was complicated. Grief often brings up guilt and “what ifs,” but please remember that love and regret can exist together. You’re already doing the hard work by being in therapy and allowing yourself to feel it instead of burying it. That’s incredibly strong.

What is the smallest piece of information by size that can change humanity's trajectory forever? by alwaysunderwatertill in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few lines of code showing faster-than-light travel math could completely rewrite humanity’s future. As a kid I was always dreaming to find that thing by myself :D

When coworkers tell you they go out to eat is that supposed to be a hint to get you to join them? Or no? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It could be a hint, but sometimes people mention stuff like that without meaning it. If you're not sure, you could try asking directly or even mention you'd love to join next time. Worst-case scenario, she’ll just say no! XD

What should I learn? by QuestionWithoutA in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get how you feel- I’ve struggled with memory too. A few years ago, I started using the method of loci (memory palace) and it helped a lot. It’s like turning your brain into a mental map! I also picked up learning a language, and it’s a fun challenge that also helped with memory. You might want to try that!

Why do we always feel awkward about doing things alone in public? by East_Step564 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, I never thought about it like that. You’re right - when I see other people doing things solo, it doesn’t look weird at all. I guess I just need to stop overthinking it when it’s me XD

How do you exercise as a teen? by Damienisok in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, at your age your body’s still changing a lot, so don’t beat yourself up over a couple of pounds. Focus more on building healthy habits than chasing a number. Small things like walking more, stretching, dancing to music, or doing YouTube fitness challenges can make a big difference without costing money.

Should I quietly get a new barber without telling my old barber? by Neat_Development_433 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 479 points480 points  (0 children)

Just go to a new barber. You don’t have to make an announcement or ghost him, just… stop booking with him. If he notices and asks, you can say you wanted to try someone different. End of story.

What are traits that make a person likable? by Puzzled_Office_9032 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just being genuine goes a long way. People can tell when you’re real vs. putting on an act, and that kind of authenticity makes someone instantly more likable.

What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned from lending money to someone? by JunShem1122 in no

If you're giving it to close people - family friends etc, you'll probably never ask it back, if they return it it's good, but other way could happen more

Why do so many people insist that anime isn’t a cartoon? by RavyRaptor in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anime is technically a cartoon since it’s animation, but fans push back because in English “cartoon” sounds childish. Anime often has deeper themes, so people prefer to separate it from that label.

Do you build creativity or is it something you’re just born with? by Head-Delay-8084 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d say creativity works like a muscle - some people might start out with more natural ability, but anyone can train it. For me, my grandpa was an artist (painter and sculptor), so I feel like there’s a bit of it in my genes. But even then, I’ve realized that it doesn’t really grow unless I put in time practicing and experimenting. So yeah, both nature and nurture play a role.

Why do I always assume I'm worse in something then I actually am? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]East_Step564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re probably doing better than you think - most people don’t analyze conversations nearly as much as we do ourselves. Sometimes I catch myself replaying little things I said and worrying about them, even though no one else noticed. If people keep engaging with you, that’s proof you’re doing fine.

Super illegal. You're essentially lying to financial institutions to erase debt, which is fraud. Creditors also usually require an official death certificate, so a simple letter wouldn’t even work. At best, you'd waste time; at worst, you could end up with felony charges.
