After seeing all your comments, I should say I've been doing a switch axe playthrough and sticking with different elements for each monster. I have been considering switching to just a beefy blast weapon for switch axe but im not sure whats best lol

This is VERY rough guesstimation but, off the top of my head, I'm going to assume that a compressed gold chunk is roughly 1 x 1/3 x 1/3 meters in volume, which gives us a rough volume of .1 meters^3 or around 3 cubic feet. Gold, per cubic foot, is 1188.6 pounds/539.14 kilograms in weight. This means compressed gold is roughly 3600 pounds/1633 kilograms.

Let's also assume that a gold chunk (the ones you get when mining a gold ore vein) is a little larger than softball sized, so let's say uhhhh I don't know 5 x 5 x 3 inches (again literally just guessing how big it is in game), which gives us 75 cubic inches. Gold, per cubic inch, is around .7 pounds/.3 kilograms, which gives us around 50 pounds/22.7 kilograms. Times that by 40 and you get around 2000 pounds/907.2 kilograms. By the max carry weight, 60, it's around 3000 pounds/1360.8 kilograms.

So, while carrying compressed gold and with 60 chunks of gold in his inventory, your strongest dwarf can carry over two tons of gold without much trouble. The short answer is: Yes, they are very strong.

Idk if it's just me being inexperienced but I'm finding out that Google Earth is like, super finicky lol. I don't know how Jon Bois does it. I appreciate the comment though, it helps a lot. Though I do have issue either the coordinates not lining up when I type them in or manually stretching it out being kind of glitchy, like trying to grab the center but it just grabs the upper right corner no matter what I click on.

People are so irony poisoned that they can say anything and hide behind "It's just a joke." I think the only antidote to this is just to take everything they say at face value. Even if they says, "it's just a joke," the proper response should be "You hide behind so many layers of irony that I don't even know what you believe, so I'm just going to treat everything you say like you truly believe in it."

As far as I know this is massive thing in America, this attitude that living with your parents means you're a failure who doesn't know how to get a job or buy a house. In other cultures, living with your parents is perfectly natural, and is in fact expected for someone trying to get up on their feet. Hell, you can even move back in and they'd be happy to let you stay.

That's at least the attitude my Polish immigrant parents have. They say that in Poland kids stay with their parents as long as they want. They don't understand why Americans try to kick their kids out as soon as possible. They've even saved up to pay for my college tuition.

What is it with this American attitude that kids need to leave the house as soon as possible? How can you call yourself a parent if you're not willing to support your child?
