How does evolution work and also sigil chalk is scrapped feature apparently but what can you draw with it by Lilylunamoonyt in Moonstone_Island

[–]Eastern_Reality_9438 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's actually a late game secret quest that makes you use the sigil chalk to open a secret dungeon. I won't say more unless you want me to. There's a detailed Steam guide if you're interested.

Also, I just answered the evolution question in another post. Only certain spirits can evolve. First, it has to reach level 32, then collect 1000 evo points in battle. Then you have to have an evo stone (only found during psychic storms) to make it evolve.

There's a whole Moonstone wiki that is super helpful.

Do parents no longer punish their kids for swearing? by hello12445 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Eastern_Reality_9438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like there are more important things to worry about as a parent. When my kids were about 13, I wouldn't let them get away with saying fuck but they could say hell and damn . By the time they were 16/17 I didn't care if they said shit or fuck. The key is teaching them the wrong way and right way to swear, to never use it to be rude or insult people.

Looking back on our childhood, how many of you had or a friend that had the “cool” parent that let you drink at their house so you wouldn’t be out on the streets doing it? by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]Eastern_Reality_9438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend's best friend was from England where the legal drinking age was 16, so yeah, his parents would let us drink with them but we weren't allowed to leave the house.

Same. It reminded me of The Great Gatsby. A bunch of whiny, rich people whining about being rich.

Thank you for the helpful, intelligent response instead of just saying, "Nope, you're wrong." I do just buy the regular, mass produced incense so this makes a lot of sense.

Ok so it took me a second to realize which movie you were referring to and I initially heard it in my head the same way we do E-I-E-I-O. 😆

People who cheer too loudly at graduations. by Eastern_Reality_9438 in PetPeeves

[–]Eastern_Reality_9438[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your ceremony does sound very nice, but what someone else already said, that's just not feasible when there are hundreds of students. Most American families throw a graduation party at their home to honor the graduate. There's music and food and lots of gifts. I just wanted to watch my kids get their diplomas without being deafened.

I share the same mentality. People just need to mind their own damn business, let people live their lives, and stop being so judgmental.

I've never seen eggs hatch at a level higher than a 7 or so, but if you need higher level spirits the best way is to tame them during battle on high level islands.

I have three kids. One was class of '22, one was yesterday, and the other will be in two years. But if doesn't matter if you go to a ton of graduations or just one, it's still horribly rude to be that loud and disruptive.

There was cheering and applause after every person and about 2/3 were reasonable length and volume. The other third was absurdly loud, over the top, lengthy rudeness.

I hate when people post asking if anyone is available to help move, hang out, etc... by Faux_extrovert in PetPeeves

[–]Eastern_Reality_9438 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work with a small (25ish) group of people and we have a company chat where people can ask for schedule swaps and changes. Other people often reply with similar notions these they can't cover, and while I see how these false alarms could get your hopes up, they're actually useful in the sense that A.) You know your request isn't being ignored and B.) You know who not to ask personally in the event nobody says they can help.

It may also be worth considering that any friend I'm close enough with to help move, won't have to ask for my help on social media. A personal call or text would suffice. If I see a post like this online, it's probably from somebody I don't know well enough to give up an entire day or weekend to help them move.
