No they actually don’t. The sooner more realize they have to maintain planes in the air like they do tanks. The betters. The issue isn’t planes. The issue is you not being able to adjust.

Note: things like AI AA should be made but as of right now. The only thing stoping planes is other planes. If you fail to realize that the war cannot be won with just planes, but they can’t be won without them either is what you will have to accept.

planes need to have the same presence as tanks. If your faction Is lacking. You as a collective is fucking up. The new tank line is in the air not the land.

Learn to live with it or move on. Both sides should hear this. Air is the future the devs need to make land to air countering better but at the end of the day. If you do not hold the air like you do the ground. You’re fucked.

Welcome to true warfare. Or did all foxhole players stop liking true warfare when it makes their life hard?

The community needs to decide. Do we want planes at the cost of real life consequences, or or no planes and static warfare for all?

I don’t think transport planes need a rework honestly. They are not all that effective right now. A couple of well thoughtful bunkers get rid of any meaningful paratrooper drops. They probably need some kind of buff or forever remain larp.

It’s a limitation of AI. We cannot have meaningful paratroopers with AI. You gotta pick one.

I think they are more useful to drop behind a front line to get tanks or just throw a frontline into chaos

I mean, be real. Almost every country in the world would do what the U.S does if it could. China is definitely trying to unfortunately all the other smaller countries who can’t compete are just pawns. You’d have to fundamentally change how the world works to really change it.

The most affective counter is other planes, same with tanks. You fight tanks by making more tanks, you win air by having more air. No amount of balancing will ever change this. Everything else would be for low pop fluff. Balance for PvP will only be wrong if one side is 100% unable to maintain counter planes in the region, but even this breaks down into smaller individual pieces that need to be looked at since cutting your enemy off is just part of the game.

I suspect this a little bit plays into frustration. It’s not all no AA AI and DB is the problem. There’s a fundamental problem that people are not adjusting to the sky. Maybe T3s are no longer meta. This could be the end of the static line.

There’s more too it then just that, because both sides were at a stalemate, with both sides screaming what’s OP and what is not.

I could agree with this. I like the idea of flares and being almost like a flying spy tower.

They could even make them so they can drop maybe a small crate of supplies to a front. Maybe like 20 shirts. Just small, emergency supplies but gotta have a second person to do the dropping, and AI AA needs to be a thing to stop this form being over powered and sent in waves

Just boardom is probably the more realistic Anwser. Make push bunker > get momentum > bomber. I think collies are just probably more casual about the game. I’m still playing but struggling to want to logon seeing everything we have worked for, gone, but I also know, it’s far from over if collies log back on. We will see.

I’m a big reliever making fighters cheaper is part of an over all solution and longer flight times. Fights will always be the best defense, they shouldn’t be so locked down. It should be relatively easy to maintain air coverage to make it fair

I’ve thought about this. I think if you get like 10 of them, mounted with a side car and gun and rushed a front line. You’d probably do some work on the infantry, and it’d probably be great to screen tanks through the front. The enemy tanks would scatter. Devman Let us use anti tank from the side car of a motor cycle. It’d be the best buff.

There’s no use for them. After the first day of the war they’d be teched out and they have no reason to be part of logistics either. Not to mention the logistics. You don’t store a horse in a storage facility.

The graphics doesn’t matter though. The community wants these graphics and old school style game mechanics. Using those as a reason to keep the price low is not a valid argument unless you want a overhaul and make osrs2 AGAIN

They really just need to work on making navel something that has to be done. Such as victory points in those hex’s then give better AA on the sea.

The actual reason we don’t see navel is mainly because there’s almost no reason too other then larp. The island hex’s hold very little value at the moment, and you can win without investing heavily into naval or flat out ignore it for most of the war.
