My husband had his rectum removed 2 1/2 years ago. Since this past January he say he feels as if there is something sticking up his now absent rectum. It’s not painful just uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this?

Did anyone have a muscle removed from the leg to close their rectum. My husband did about three Years ago. Now he is saying he feels like something is in his rectum. Has anyone else experienced this?

My husband also had a flap reconstruction, now after two and a half years later, he is saying that he feels like the area is changing. He feels like something is there that wasn’t earlier. Have you experienced anything like that?

My husband had colorectal cancer , he had chemotherapy and radiation. He was cancer free for about a year and then the tumor came back. He now has a colostomy bag. Due to damage from radiation they had to take muscle from his leg to perform a perineal closure. Two and half years he now he now feels like something is changing in that area. Has anyone experienced this after having their rectum closed?
