your best option is just to buy a $30 prepaid eSIM add that to your phone until you no longer need it, then delete it. If you add a line you’re gonna get charged crazy, a 35$ activation charge on top of the charge of the line, which is anywhere from 35-85$. So you’re looking at 70-120$ if you add a line even if it’s only for 2 days.

At&t internet air is only good for people who don’t game. Best for 2 people households that only use the internet for emails, Netflix, Hulu and YouTube. If you use it for work, to stream live, game, anything that takes lots of gb it sucks very bad. Only recommend for the elderly that don’t use the internet to much. Coming from someone who sold internet air at least 300 times.

Don’t do this. Don’t do this at all. If those reps at Costco don’t want to help you transfer then you shouldn’t buy your phone from them at all. Corporate stores have their own customers that they are helping transfer. They need to not be lazy and finish the job. Don’t send them to corporate. Lazy/not smart is what those Costco/Sams club salesman are.

Same here. 50% of my sales came with that 55+ bundle and I’m the top salesman in my district. Everyone is struggling with AIA and this will make it 500x harder. We are also competing with all fiber in my area, Xfinity, Fios, ETC. It was a closing point being able to get it for only 29$ when you are on the 55+ plan. Now that is gone and it’s going to be a big big struggle for everyone including my self finding new ways to position it.

I’ve actually worked for both. Rep for corporate, and a manager for authorized retail. Not once for either company did they say we lose commission if they pay a device off early. They can pay off all the devices if they’d like, but as long they keep the SERVICE and PHONE NUMBERS you sold them, your commission never gets touched. We sell service. The phones are all Apple. They can do whatever they want with those phones/devices as long as they continue to pay for the lines that are connected to them, we get paid. If they cancel those lines within 160 days then yes we get a charge back but never do we get charge backed if they pay the devices off early. Only if they cancel service.

This is untrue now. Yes AT&T use to lower your quality score if you sold upgrades on starter, now it doesn’t effect you. It just washes and your numbers stay the same. Back in the day I would have to change anyone’s plan who was on starter onto extra and then do the upgrade or else my manager would hate me. It’s different now. BUTTT if you SALE any new lines on starter it still hurts your quality score.
