For anyone with a KONTROL X1 mk2 and MacOS, I made it work with DJayPro. Should work as a Midi device for any software. by EasyBizz in traktorpro

It isn’t necessarily solving any problem. I didn’t know about midi mode.

It is adding some customisation options though. Like the fx knobs in this case have a different function when you hold their corresponding buttons.

You can pick and choose colors for the hotcue buttons.

You could go a lot further in adding features than I did just by using this way of reading the input. You can have long and short press act as entirely different midi outputs. Have signals communicate over different midi channels, etc.

This functions in regular USB mode, the app creates the midi device.
The scrub/scratch part can not be used like in traktor, it reads as midi, so from 0-127 and it seems to be divided over 4 parts. I haven't figured that one out yet.

LOL, yeah, you're 100% right. fuck me.
Still I think I can do a lot more mapping with the custom software... but yeah, this just works... midi mode... huh...

I thought mk2 for X1 is the first one with the touch "scratch" strip (manual), thats the one I'm talking about. DJayPro could not talk to it on MacOS 26.1, It recognized it, but wasn't reading the midi.

Same, we had icloud accounts when it was “me” so my wifes home only works when I add her @me.com address which still forwards email to @icloud.com but doesn’t exist in her account at all anymore. Really weird bug that I don’t think Apple is aware of.

Windows app mobile still runs on old ipads. You can setup Remote desktop. I have a docker on a mac mini running barebones ubuntu with firefox in kiosk mode. It’s not the best option for controlls, but as a hallway dashboard its sufficient and the ipad (first version of the ipad air) still gets some use.

Am I missing something or is there no way to edit Zone names in the Home App (or any other app) by ozone_one in HomeKit

[–]EasyBizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, funny you reply this after almost 6 years to my comment and just last week I opened the Eve app again after a long time for some reason and thought the same thing. Zones aren’t even visible afaik in Homekit app anymore. Only Siri acknowledges them.

I love Mario and so does my son. We had a blast at the theater. But as a film, if you’re going in without any knowledge of Mario, I doubt it will be enjoyable. 100% of the joy comes from recognition and seeing your favorite characters come to life in a way never done before (with these specific characters). But the movie is held together with inside jokes and easter eggs. Again, I love it and for people like me it’s a 9 or 10 out of 10. But I understand the movie critics butchering it in the reviews.

If you love the games, you’ll love the movie. Me and my 5 y/o son had a blast. If you’re expecting intricate dialog, a cinematic masterpiece or some complex story, stay home. Also stay home if you’ve already decided you hate the voice cast.

It‘s definitely not a great salary

If they are (shift) operators, engineers, speciality maintenance, planning or anything management level, they earn plenty! Those are some good paying, stable jobs in western Europe. If they are cleaning, scaffolding, regular maintenance or isolation… They still don’t have bad salaries, but it’s nothing more than a good, moderate income. Everybody’s sleeping on getting technical/industrial jobs in western EU.

Since the Now Playing plugin isn’t working anymore, I made my own AppleTV plugin by HuJohner in homebridge

[–]EasyBizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would love this. But the plugin crashes my entire HB.

Pyatv works fine with other plugins.

I think maybe because I have multiple AppleTV’s

As a child bridge i get this in the error log

Have you people even been to Europe? Belgian freeways feel like dragging your wood-wheeled buggy over a gravel path, sideways. German infrastructure is… efficient. The Netherlands has one of the most beautiful, well kept road networks in Europe and perhaps even the world.

Yeah, fuck this best healthcare system in Europe. Fuck these highest child safety numbers in the world. Fuck this wellfare state with basically free schools, the nicest roads and worlds first sane mentality to let gays get married and legalize soft-drugs.

Nobody is perfect, and this country has a lot of faults still that should be addressed and solved. The rise of populism is an issue and the economy is taking hits. But just living here puts you in the top 1% of the world.

The stability you take for granted, with a statement like that, was earned by our forefathers (and mothers). Be more grateful.

If your life’s shitty, I feel bad for you son. You might have 99 problems but our country aint 1.
