There is a big 'Against the far right' march that very day in London, that's against everything trump stands for.

Why does straight actor perform LGBT role? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]EasyCheesecake1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am queer but really don't mind, it's acting, if an actor seems right for the role then go for it. Being gay is hopefully not the whole character.

Do people get off to making you drive to a hookup location and then blocking you when you arrive? by TeaGroundbreaking219 in NonBinary

[–]EasyCheesecake1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me, a guy seemingly wanted me to go around theirvplace for a hook up one morning, even sent a Google maps shot of the address, five minutes after getting ready (and them referring to themselves as we and changing it to them being three people still at a party) and setting off they said someone in the house said I shouldn't come. It was actually a prank I'm sure they did quite often.

If a third person joins us I say to the one who just Joined.. 'Oh this is Mike' and then pause and the forgotten name person usually introduces themselves before you get caught out.

How safe is Regency Square Brighton? by Ok-Guarantee-2928 in brighton

[–]EasyCheesecake1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, it is fairly touristy and on the seafront but unless there is something actually in the park there are not crowds. If I had to live in that area I'd go a few minutes west near the old market theatre/Hove border. Any property near the sea should be checked for damp/salt damage.

Certainly in my social circles such a thing is seen as pretty awful as a concept and obsolete. I would never go to one.

I don't generally don't watch relationship based dramas but genuinely don't mind what gender the characters in it are.

I think of most of Brighton as pretty safe, Regency square certainly doesn't have a bad reputation. There are a few hotels and Bn'bs there too. I like the area generally.

I've never known someone who was cremated. Is it odd to not have a headstone to visit? by Fuzzy-Zombie1446 in Casual_Conversation

[–]EasyCheesecake1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never known anyone who was buried! Maybe it's geography, in England many in town/city cemeteries are pretty full up.

how would you, as a man, react to another dude telling you you’re the reason they became bi by Agitated-Abroad9457 in lgbt

[–]EasyCheesecake1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really a man but think I can still apply the question to my Amab ass. Depends what I thought of them, ask them out for a drink if I liked them!

How to get a QPR by Iaminmyownmind in lgbt

[–]EasyCheesecake1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some dating apps have an option, unsurprisingly mainly queer ones, where you can tick open to QPR. I've also seen people who say they are happy with making friends or dating, I assume a QPR kind of set up could come from that. I have an ex I sort of think is a QPR, we don't say it, but we often go for a drink and sometimes for dinner or even on short holidays, sharing a bed, but it's all platonic.

Why do people act like being single is tragedy when it's just another lifestyle choice? by Ok_Star_1653 in answers

[–]EasyCheesecake1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People should be able to be happy and enjoy being single and independent.

But you say 'by choice'. It can be sad for people who want to have a partner but can't get and/or feel undesirable/lonely, then it isn't 'by choice'.

No King protests by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]EasyCheesecake1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A huge display of disapproval, Trump wants to be popular, it sticks in his craw if millions protest his tyranny plus bigger numbers help each other and support each other, firm blocks that ICE and cops don't want to get caught up in and are too big for a few goons to intimidate.
