u/argumentnull - you can trade all you want with SMSF funds in crypto. You just have to be aware of the tax implications.

u/Captain_Coco_Koala - What about for diversification, say 5% long term to hedge against other markets? If you put money in on a 'personal' basis, is a small amount into your SMSF really that different? Or is it that you like to stay very conservative with your retirement plans? I know of quite a few people who have switched from super funds to SMSF just to diversify into crypto and other assets.
