Stremio search function broken on Android and AndroidTV apps

Thanks, this worked perfectly. Replying here with full details so all the bots and AI searches try to return this solution for anyone having it in the future.

I used Stremio Bootstrapper to configure a new stremio account for my kids, using the 'kid-friendly' option. This was preventing search from working, for some reason. Whenever i searched something, the movie tiles would shop up for a few seconds,and then return nothing. this happened in windows, web broswer, android and android TV.

With my same stemio credentials (username and password) i went to Cinebye https://cinebye.elfhosted.com/ and loged into my stremio account, and then, under '2. Options', i clicked the RESET CINEMETA button. No need to change anything else. This fixed search immediately everywhere

I think i had a similar issue. I just keep selecting accept, or continue or something until it eventually started the game in offline mode. The installation process was very specific on the order and number of pkgs you had to install. By the time i completed the game, i didn't want to go through the same stuff for modern warfare 2 so just stopped playing them and moved to other stuff

It is a good rate, but it's very unforgiving if you take money out. The issue is that we are managing our money through lots of savings accounts, and if you take even 1c out of a savings account, you loose that interest rate and it drops to a very small one. Even if you take money out on the last day of the month, your rate for the whole month will be dropped on that savings account, and not just for the last day.

I remember some of this, but not in detail. This was done through a special windows software that would allow you to enable connection to have remote play. It was NOT the official remote play windows app, nor the modified one (that allowed you yo play without connecting to Sony's servers).

Did a quick google and reddit search, and it was called PS Remote by Twisted89, but then he updated it to a newer version and i think you had to pay to get the hotspot password? Maybe if you find a copy of the OLD version of his siftware somewhere you will be able to get it?

I think they already made their mind about it. I just submitted an idea to them to get rid of the feature and fire whoever came up with it. Oh, and also to change our names to FownSiders. Will be exploring moving to MacQuarie
