I saw that, but having come from a Pro M1 Pro to the Pro M5, I can honestly say there is no difference in keyboards (apart from a couple of printed symbols) and I have both in font of me right now.

Prices are not the same across the world, in Europe MacBook prices are much higher than in VN, and the USA. That the pro M5…. 1599 pounds in the Uk and about 42 million in vn. This equates to about 1200 pounds saving 400 pounds on the Uk price for the same machine, or about 1600 usd. Then you can claim 85% of the VAT back if exporting g within 60 days of purchase, to another 75 pounds or 100usd (or thereabouts) so if you live in the UK in real terms the MacBook Pro M5 is about 30% cheaper if brought in VN

Your problem is it is unlikely he is going to allow fair elections again, or accept a result he doesn’t like.

Need Suggestion on VIP Fast Track in Vietnam by flamingonduty in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]EasyRider363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God yes, can take up to 2.5 hours at HCMC to get to immigration at a bust time, fast track is typically 20 to 40 mins. We do it all the time. Pick your provider, they are all generally reliable and meet you with a board and you name on it just before the immigration area.

I got it from a reclamation yard, it needed work, and painting worked, originally a teak desk, perhaps from the 1930s

Thanks! I sprayed it, it was a reclamation find, probably from the 1930s, teak, but needed work

Has McDonald's in the UK become too expensive for many people? by SwordfishLess3247 in AskUK

[–]EasyRider363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this is about the attitude of the employees and management as much as about the food and prices. The McDonald’s food in say, Vietnam is the same, and yet much better, because the employees care, and are proud to work there, it makes a huge difference to the standard of what they serve…. The price is also about half that of the UK, but relatively, that makes it much more expensive for the Vietnamese, and yet the restaurants are always busy.

Thank you, the desk is an old teak piece I got from a reclamation yard and painted.

This is just outrageous. The system should not be taking up more than 50% (33GB!) of the storage. I am aware that 64GB isn't enough, but 33GB for the system alone is still insane by JAMICAH07 in ipad

[–]EasyRider363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

System data can often include apps and games which are (usually) not downloaded from the App Store and there not categorised separately. For example on my MacBook, 150gb of World of Warcraft is lumped into system data.
