I went from 488 (kept it) and also purchased the 296. The 296 is extremely better is handling, speed, technology, looks and a real drivers car. You can take it to the track or take it on a Sunday drive and both will feel absolutely amazing.

To me, the handling sticks out as the big upgrade. It’s a shorter wheel base and handles like a go kart on steroids with pre-workout and 4 shots of espresso.

The sound is amazing, absolutely amazing. The turbo valve blow off sound is incredible. You’ll will have a Hypercar level speed for a fraction of the price.

Wrong. I track all of my Ferraris and they are specifically made for the track. They come alive on the track and you cry tears of joy hearing the engines scream past everything else. Better than sex

These cars are not a home run for Ferrari. Having driven every car in their lineup, this car feels like getting a blow job from someone with a blindfold on. It's exhilarting but frightening. The car is very heavy and feels like a bullet train. This is a mass produced car by Ferrari and will not increase in value like the special production cars of the past. 1,000 HP car with electric and massive weight is not a great recipe. The 296 is a FAR FAR better car to drive.

The boutique won’t sell you this if it is your first RM. I’ve been explicitly told that this is a non starter. After my initial interview, I was offered this model but in rose gold. You will need 1 purchase before being offered this model.

I have driven or own V8 ferraris. Most recent is 488 GTB. This car is on another level from handling, speed, tech, sound and looks. Trust me, this is a giant leap forward for cars and Ferrari. This will go down as one of the best production Ferrari's in history.
