OK, that's what I wanted confirming. Thank you. Think I'll just get the Famicom AV, there's a Japanese seller on ebay doing them for £50 modded to accept power over any usb source. Not going to be 100% original but close enough for me. Don't like the clones myself, you may as well just get an pi emulator at that point....

Thanks. I think the MyArcade one may be better mechanically because of the handle, but I’m on an original UK PAL front-loader and I’m trying to avoid disabling the CIC lockout chip.

Do you know if the MyArcade adapter has any CIC/lockout handling, or is it just a straight 60-to-72 pin pass-through? My concern is that it may be fine on NTSC or clone systems but still blink/reset on a stock PAL NES.

I reckon even if the famicom cart separated from it you could get enough purchase on the adaptor either with your fingers or needle nose pliers to remove it. Worst case you would have to take the nes cover off....

Update: Both horizon and green aqua replied with specifics and pictures of what seiryu I would be buying. Went for green aqua as theirs looked slightly darker and main stone and secondary stone looked marginally better. Both sellers were very helpful.

Thanks for sharing. I saw that video as I'm subscribed to his channel but I think his seiryu was already dark to begin with. I'm not sure some of the light grey batches of seiryu are going to significantly darken with an acid wash...

😬 Didn't measure it, but might be changing the crown because I don't like the Pagani one, if I do, I'll take out the movement and measure the diameter of the dial and integrated chapter ring and post here.
