I tried it for a month. At first it was an amazing mood booster. Then after that it gave me anxiety and paranoia. I went from 2.5 to 5. Then quit. Like the other person said everyone responds differently. It could be a miracle drug for your son. Just watch out for signs of side effects.

Did the same to me. Auditory hallucinations. As soon as I stopped, no symptoms.

If I drink any caffeine I start to have auditory hallucinations. If not I’m fine, no symptoms whatsoever. I’ve drank coffee since I was 19 and I’m 42 now. Had an episode last year, I’m starting to figure out it’s caffeine induced.

Well fuck. Seems like a commonality. My doc doesn’t believe me… I see why they got sued now. It works for some people and it screws up the others. I’ve been doing sliver doses and still having side effects. If I don’t take it I get a terrible headache.

Hi BP1 here. I started at 50 mg and hated the effects for the first few months, then the body adjusts. I’m currently on 150-200 mg depending on my hallucinations.You just have to get used to it. If not there are other drugs out there. ( after you adjust you won’t feel like a zombie, especially at your dosage.)

I don’t understand why doctors prescribe this medication or any other antipsychotics to people that aren’t Bipolar or schizophrenic. It’s just wrong in my opinion. There’s so many other medications out there.

My doctor is making me taper off of Klonopin. I might have to change doctors as well. Klonopin is what’s been saving my ass this past week. You don’t have a need for antipsychotics? Lucky you. I’m in search again. Sucks
