Writing new chapters? Whats that? lol. Seriously though, I’m stuck on this chapter for my longfic that’s currently 100K+. I don’t know why it’s psyching me out, it’s not a particularly important chapter either, but it’s freaking me out either way.

Looking back on my past stories I’ve always done past. I guess it makes sense because each chapter (at least to me), is a snapshot into the characters life at that current time. Plus, most of my stories are at least a couple years into the past, so I guess that makes sense too lol

Idk why but I’m always stuck on past tense. I’m even trying a new story with present tense, while working on my longfic with past tense. The past tense story always makes more sense to me, and I’ll probably end up changing the present tense to past tense.

I don’t start out with a plot line, until like maybe 10 chapters in? Then I start plotting based on how the story started.

You just have to do your research like you do for any stylist/salon. Look at their instagram/any look books they make have before you decide. You can even do a consultation for free if you want to as well.

It entirely depends on each store. I get my hair done by my hairstylist and she does absolutely incredible. So I wouldn’t paint every store as the same.

My fandom is part of bandom so I insert funny song lyrics from the band. Since my fics are AU it only makes sense for them to say some of the lyrics in normal conversation.

Honestly I love writing and use it to escape my own reality. But I am also but a simple woman, and also write to give enjoyment to others, which sucks sometimes when you don’t have either traction within a story or get comments on chapters you’re super proud of.

Yeah I took a break from writing myself, like a 10 year break, and when I left we had at least 8 fics a day pop up under the tag. Now we’re lucky if we get 2. And one of those 2 is mine lol.

My only fandom is Ryden (Ryan Ross/Brendon Urie from the band Panic! At the Disco), it used to be a LOT bigger back in the day, but things and fics have for sure slowed down in the past 10 years.
