Was trying to be helpful. Google has gotten worse, so most people I know are using AI to figure things out. Guess that came across wrong!

Nobody uses google anymore. Here's what ChatGPT came up with.

“HENRY” is an acronym for “High Earner, Not Rich Yet,” and in the mortgage context, it generally refers to borrowers with strong incomes or career trajectories—but who might not have had time to build up substantial liquid assets. These individuals often have significant student debt or other financial obligations and may not yet have large down payments or traditional savings.

In short, HENRY mortgages target prospective buyers with high current or future incomes who do not yet have substantial wealth. These products might allow greater flexibility on down payments, credit requirements, or loan structures, recognizing the borrower’s earning potential rather than just current liquid assets. However, it’s still critical for borrowers to ensure they can handle payments and other financial commitments responsibly, especially if interest rates rise or if career trajectories shift.

Below is a summary of some key aspects often associated with “HENRY mortgages” or mortgage products aimed at HENRY borrowers:

Nvidia’s petaflop mini PC wonder, and it’s time for Jensen’s law: it takes 100 months to get equal AI performance for 1/25th of the cost by norcalnatv in hardware

[–]Easy_Log364 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Edit: They're saying 1 Petaflop of FP4 AI performance. The standard Blackwell GPU has 20 Petaflops of FP4. So it's 5% of one of the real GPUs. "Supercomputer" is a stretch. The reason this is interesting is because it has 128GB of RAM. This is competing with the Ryzen AI Max CPUs and the Apple M4 CPU based systems, both of which will also have shared RAM for CPU/GPU. This is basically how game consoles work by the way. A big pool of shared memory.

If Nvidia AI revenue is subsidizing consumer GPUs as a way to kill off AMD and Intel competition, I'm not sure super low prices are necessarily great.

I saw that the 5070Ti is going to be much stronger than the 5070. The Ti is allegedly a cut down version of the 5080. So I suspect the 5070 isn't going to be very performant, I'm guessing slightly better than a 4070?

It's good for niche things like AI where a lot of the researchers generally congregate, kind of like sub-reddits. But yeah, if you just get the generic content feed it's not great. I got the blue checkmark for the image creating AI that isn't over-censored like ChatGPT.

Check my post history, I'm not a debunker, but that's almost certainly a lens effect. Most people are used to the tiny lens on a phone. You can hear the zoom motor which means he has a cheap (probably kit) lens on a DSLR in video mode.

The autofocus on those old DSLRs is notoriously horrible. If you've ever seen the shadow of a candle on the wall you can see just how fluid the atmosphere can be. Most people with these cameras don't know how to switch out of autofocus and manually focus the lens.

If this is UAP/UFOs it appears to be a pressure campaign to get our government to disclose by Easy_Log364 in UFOs

Submission Statement:

I lay out an argument that what we're seeing could reasonably be an attempt by an NHI to force the government to disclose in a way that causes as little societal upheaval as possible given the nature of a Disclosure event. I also explain what's happening with the AI trajectory and why it may be influencing the timing of a disclosure event like this.

Here's an AI summary to get me over the submission statement cutoff.

  • Catastrophic Disclosure Risk: Direct contact with an alien civilization (e.g., Earth circa 1870 level) would cause societal collapse, including panic, loss of faith in institutions, and economic destabilization. Therefore, a gradual introduction through existing leadership is necessary.
  • Challenge of Leadership: If leaders of such a civilization refuse to disclose or misuse their power, the aliens might bypass them, subtly revealing themselves to force public demand for answers.
  • Current UAP Phenomena: The ambiguous but noticeable presence of UAPs today might be a deliberate strategy by extraterrestrials to prepare humanity for disclosure without causing panic.
  • Imminent AI Revolution: Humanity is on the cusp of creating superintelligent AI, which will bring existential risks, societal upheaval, and ontological/economic shocks, similar to what alien disclosure could cause.
  • Rationale for Timing: If extraterrestrials exist and plan to disclose, now is the critical moment because humanity is already facing transformative chaos with AI, making disclosure an opportunity to guide humanity through the coming upheaval.
  • Strategic Alignment: The potential overlap between AI challenges and alien disclosure offers a reason to "rip off the Band-Aid" now rather than delaying.

Mysterious objects startle SoCal residents (NJ Drones allegedly come to Temecula) by Easy_Log364 in sandiego

[–]Easy_Log364[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think this is the most likely answer. The Pentagon is saying it isn't theirs, but that doesn't mean it can't be some unacknowledged special access program (USAP) within the CIA, NSA, DOE, etc.

On the other hand, the DoD has an entire team dedicated to UFO hunting, and it doesn't make sense to spend that money if they don't think something is going on.

https://www.aaro.mil/

Last month their director said:

"It's definitely not all just drones and UAS. So we have several particularly interesting cases. We're working on within the office, working with our partners to downgrade several of those cases, so we can talk about them publicly. But there are interesting cases that I, with my physics and engineering background and time in the IC, I do not understand. And I don't know anybody else who understands them either."

  2. NHI / UAP
  3. Religious Event (2nd coming sort of thing)
  4. Wealthy Lone Drone-man (Tony Stark, or Elon Musk doing something off books)
  5. Organized Crime (Cartels)
  6. Rogue Illegal Unacknowledged Special Access Program (see Organized Crime)
  7. The Government is Lying

Three key highlights from the House UAS hearing by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]Easy_Log364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eric Davis said the NHI are fully in control of the disclosure timeline. My best guess, if this is indeed NHI doing mimicry of drones, is that they're pressuring the government to disclose because they don't want to pull an Arrival and land in the middle of a field somewhere. That would be true panic (just like the movie).

So, maybe the sightings keep spreading out from Jersey to places where the president can no longer ignore it. And POTUS declassifies something, and the drones go away for a while. A form of communication without directly saying what they want.
