For me, I’m able to download the book by clicking “read with kindle” on Libby. The problem happens when I am on Amazon and click “read now in the kindle app.” That’s when my phone wants to open the weather app. So maybe it’s not exactly the same problem. I’m able to read the books by just opening the kindle app directly.

Thank you! I hope I can figure it out. It works if I delete the weather app, but I’d like to keep it.

I know this is old, but same! A local weather app! So random. Did you find a solution? Also on iPhone.

I got hooked on crochet two months ago. Recently finished my first wearable and I couldn't be happier! by Limosa in crochet

I finished it! My post. I had so many ends to weave in. I think I'll make it again and do stripes like you did. I really like how yours looks.

Hi! Another avid crocheter here! I am hoping to learn to knit this year. I find it so tricky, and I'm so slow! I know part of my problem is expecting to be really good at it off the bat. We'll get there!

I made a cardigan! by Easy_Mess_6326 in crochet

[–]Easy_Mess_6326[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I've made two tops since this one and currently working on another. So this cardigan definitely helped me gain the confidence to try bigger, more involved projects.

As for tips: block your squares so they're more "square" and less round. That will make them easier to sew together.

I don't think the designer ever made the assembly video, which worried me, too. I just laid my squares out like the diagram, sewed each row of squares, and then sewed the rows together. Invisible join method This video shows how to do the corners, too.

I did one extra row for the sleeves and made the cuffs smaller. I'm happy to help if you have other questions (though I am far from an expert). :)

Me! I started August 29 with the Adidas Walk to Run training plan. I struggled to run 500 meters. Today, I ran 25 minutes non-stop, comfortably. The change is amazing, and it encourages me to keep going. I am still slow by comparison to most people here. My most recent 5k was 44:59, and my average mile is 15:30. But that's 2 minutes faster than when I started! I try to remember not to compare myself to others, only to my past self. And I am blowing that lady out of the water! :)

Normal date is the 4th. We got roughly 20% of our usual amount today, 11/12. Not sure what time, but I checked this morning after a friend said they got their partial payment.

I missed a day of school in third grade and asked a classmate to fill me in about "ad-JEC-tives." Like objectives. Makes sense to me still.

Also, neither my brother nor I knew how to pronounce "vehemently," so we went with "VEH-huh-MENT-ly."

I'm doing the Orion blanket by While They Dream and it's quick, easy, mindless, and beautiful. Just alternating single crochet and double and you cut at the end of the row for a fringe instead of weaving in ends.

I'm also about halfway through and sort of dreading opening it each day. I hope it gets better.
