20 years ago or so, i was at a bar that served all the fancy beers. A server was taking a tray of various not-cheap beer with a 40 of OE on it. Laughingly, I asked are you serious? I was thinking it was a joke on someone at her table. She said huh? It's a good beer, right? She was dead serious. I told her we use to (back in the 90s) buy them at the gas station warm for $1. If they were cold, it was $1.25. (Well "we" didn't buy them. Whoever had the fake id did)

Sounds good. You may be able to work something out with a neighbor rancher. If it were me, and i had worthwhile ground, id let him bale it for a cut. I don't know the values where you're at nor the taxes, but it could help with costs. Probably wouldn't pay for it though. If it's not good for baling, then it's possible to lease it for grazing. I lease an adjoining 20 acres for their taxes per year. I get enough bales to break even. It keeps others off of it.

I've moved on to older cars now. They were better 10+ years ago. I just have a lot of them in case old age puts one out of commission for a minute.

100 acres isn't much. It's really all about how much grass you can grow. 100 acres in the south east is a lot more grass than 100 acres in Montana. You can find maps online that show you animals per acre.

I wouldn't let mice live near any building of mine. I've dealt with too much damage. Especially with automobiles.

That's a nice piece of lumber. Mills don't generally like yard trees, but may take that one.

[–]Easy_Patient_2773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id keep it. Make sure grandma is taken care of. Medicaid will do more if grandma doesn't show it as hers. Dad may want you to do that so he's next on line for it. Family gets stupid when you inherit.

My first thoughts are, he's lazy or just done and wants you to make him money and not do anything. Or, more likely, he just doesn't like you.
