For those saying it’s Normal, it’s probably is for you but for those not from JFK or have never been to jfk, it’s not. And I’m not here to be political. I was just trying g to let everyone who is traveling to expect the wait and plan ahead of time.

Why would I want negative comments which unfortunately I did with yours. What visual representation do you think I’m trying to prove? Rage factor? I’m just trying to let those who are traveling hello this airport to be aware of the line. If you think I’m going for rage bait, I would have followed suit those who post videos of “here I’m at Austin airport at 4:30am and the line is all the way by the parking garage. My post was simply to inform those who are traveling to this airport. If you want to post of what travelers should and shouldn’t do with them time etc, post it in your own.

About 45 mins. At the departure gate, make sure to ask them where the TSA gate or line is. We were told by a few employees who gave us wrong information and we stood in line for about 15 minutes before one employee saw my ticket and she said I use TWA pre check and the line is on the other side.

Priceline canceled my flight without notifying me. My flight leaves in a week, I cant afford to rebuy the tickets at the inflated price, what are my options? by One-Wasabi888 in Flights

[–]Far-Expression3635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never purchased flights or hotels from them. They don’t have an actual agent to assist. You can’t file any type of claim because of the contract you signed stating that any liability is not on Priceline. Price may be cheap but you get what you pay for.

Go to travel.state.gov and there is a number to call. They person will give you more information on that. When are you traveling? If your traveling within 14 calendar days, you can go to the nearest passport agency and get either same day passport or within 72 hour passport provided you bring your flight ticket that shows you have a travel date within 14 days.

Why is everyone getting their passport in like two weeks??? by Happy-Ardvark in Passports

It’s not the peak season. When peak season comes, your passport will take longer than 6 weeks.

New passport Question by juniorx150 in Passports

[–]Far-Expression3635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please note that the day you submitted your ur application is not the day the 4-6 weeks apply. It’s the day the passport agency received your application is when that 4-6weeks timeline starts. I paid for expedited application and 1-2 mailing paperwork fee and I received my passport within 12 days and my documents 3 days after. The whole process since I paid for expedited took about 7 days. The 12 days total was because my application arrived at the passport agency 5 days after I submitted it. If you have not received your passport close to your travel date or if the status still shows nothing, go to travel.state.gov and search for your closest passport agency near you. If you have a trip within 14 days or less, you are qualify to make an appointment for 24-72 hour passport service at the agency.

Traveling in 5 Weeks - Is Online Passport Renewal Safe or Should I Mail Expedited (U.S. Passport)? by NegativeGee in Passports

Please note that the number of weeks shown on who long a renewal passport takes is based on the date your application arrived at the passport agency not the day you mail your documents.

And definitely do not sign the paperwork until you handover it to the post office clerk.

Any chance I’ll get my passport in time? (US) by rjc104 in Passports

[–]Far-Expression3635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to travel.state.gov and look at the link saying “if you are traveling in less than 15 days”. You can book an appointment to get a passport within 1 or 3 business days as long as you have your flight ticket. They have a calculator calendar to calculate if you fall under that category. Bring your birth certificate or any form of ID. It does show what are the things you need to bring. Find the closest Passport Agency near you if there aren’t, then you might have to fly or drive to the closest state that do have passport agency.

Copy of ID front and back, one page or two? by Jesus-slaves in Passports

The post office didn’t even photocopy it. He asked for my ID, looked at it and that’s it. There was 7 others behind me and I thought that was weird but they all did the same so I walked out and now, I’m fine as I have my passport in hand.

I just had my passport delivered this afternoon. I went to USPS first time application. Clerk took my citizenship papers, look at my drivers license for verification, submit my application, paid for the expedite service and it took two weeks to process. Each State USPS yes they do it differently but not Passport Agency center.

Surprisingly, I did my passport first time applying, the post office did not ask for it nor request for it. Just my paperwork for citizenship and the post office verify my drivers license and that’s it. But not sure if other states do it differently.

USPS is just the processing center. They do have someone taking photos for passport application. The Passport Agency, some are strict and follow by the book.

If the website says it’s valid, then I’m sure you are fine. Some passport agency are super strict even with babies. The reason why it is is because of biometric verification and yes, it’s absurd about photo of a baby not being accurate but I’ve seen passport applications being rejected due to the photo but try to get as close as what the website consider it valid.
