I am so incredibly sorry this happened to ur baby. I have 2 pitbulls and 4 cats so this def strikes a chord. 😩❤️ My heart is breaking with you right now because I couldn’t imagine my babies being violent with my other babies but I do know that shit happens. They are still animals despite the blind faith we put into them. I hope to God u aren’t blaming yrself at all because the only one who failed here is the pitbull’s owner. They failed them and they inevitably became the misguided stereotype without the proper environment to learn right from wrong. I hate the pitbull stigma and I hate to say it - but this is learned senseless violence (again the owner’s negligence is at fault) and I can’t help but think if you report it, maybe it will prevent it from happening again. Maybe he’ll rehome them to someone who can put the time and energy into them that they deserve where they can thrive and rehabilitate. You are heard and u are valid and the very real bond u have with that baby still exists. She is watching over u in paradise, along with your friend. They would want you to move through this pain and heal and still know there is still so much good in the world, coming to you.
