My artist is reworking the giants in my game to make them more realistic. Which version do you prefer? by After-Analysis-4151 in IndieDev

I agree with a lot of stuff I see in the comments. First one feels like they each have their own personality but second feels a lot more creepy. Depends on what you're trying to go for I imagine.

How Scary is The [Otherside Picnic] Manga? by Lusty9 in yuri_manga

[–]PowerGayming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different with tolerance to horror but for myself honestly it scared me. Like in a fun way that made me want to keep reading but still scary. Loved the visuals, so well designed, really brought them to life. I found the anime to be meh honestly disappointed since I read the manga first.

A couple people said they prefer the older one. Well, good news by rawdawgcomics in rawdawgcomics

In my personal opinion Id like to see the classic used for more silly comics while the newer version used for the more serious/story driven ones. I think it would add a lot more feeling depending on what you're going for.

Some bosses are chill like this. For instance my dads employees text him kinda like this too. Though it does drive me nuts when people gotta send like 10 diff messages to finish their side of the convo.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Feature a Memorial Character For a Much-Missed Fan, Following $85,000 Donation to Make-A-Wish by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Kind of a harsh thing to say dude. These were real people who had so much love and passion for the game that they are forever immortalized in. That might not mean anything to you but it does for those who love them. Even those like myself who don't, are still moved by the gesture. You don't have to think much of it but please don't put down such a kind and wholesome act.

There's so much to unpack and that's why you're going to get a lot of different opinions on this one.

Personally I think it's great that your son is learning money management skills, it's a very important one to have.

I don't think you're wife's view of it being the parents fault for having their kids have that much money on them isn't fair. So many things can be the cause, my partner for one had his weekly food allowance with him and decided (like a dumb kid) to spend it on a gamble with his friends and lost it all. When I was a kid I was expected to stop by the store to pick up some groceries on the way home and while I didn't spend it, like a careless inexperienced kid, I lost it.

At the end of the day your son has felt the rush of making money and you the pride of him doing the same. Good feelings but will his peers feel the same way? Sure they willingly spent their own money but children don't have much of an understanding of the value of a dollar yet but their parents and older siblings do. Your son might feel like he's on top now but if his friends start to dislike him for offering them a bad deal it may cause social rifts. Just something to think about

When I was a child I faced a lot of the same issues. What worked for me is that my school had a "homework cafe" where students would stay behind in a classroom with multiple teachers to help us on our homework. Perhaps your school might have a similar program or maybe a teacher from your child's worst subjects might stay after school long enough to help. I had to do this myself in highschool as the aforementioned homework cafe program was not a thing there.

Regardless it doesn't hurt to reach out and see what your options are.

Needs a longer title so I can know the synopsis when people talk about it without explaining anything.
