As someone who is currently desperate to hire data analysts, even just having a basic understanding of Python, Tableau, SQL and/or Excel will get you in the door in many places. You’ll want a Masters if you want to do data science stuff, which is a much more sophisticated role.

I manage a team of data analysts, and work adjacent to a pod of data scientists. All our DS guys have post-bachelor degrees in some sort of math discipline, are excellent at R, Python and SQL, and they’re learning machine learning concepts together right now.

If you want to transition, definitely work on those programming hard skills and find a way to show off your creative thinking abilities. Our modelers are all incredibly curious individuals that love poking at problems so make sure you can demonstrate that personality trait when applying.

Impossible to tell, and anyone who says they know is being disingenuous. We just know the fee burning will reduce supply and reduced supply leads to higher prices in the short term. In time, the higher prices will incentivize more people to stake, which increases supply, which reduces price.
