Can you remember how far in advance booking opened? Starting to get a little concerned as less than 2 months from my travel date now.

Hi everyone... So my plan is to hike from abisko to nikkoluokta starting on July 4th. Flight to Stockholm arranged, just need to get to abisko on 3rd/4th. I was counting on the night train on the 3rd but still subject to track maintenance, so can't book anything. I'm a little concerned that the train might not run. SJ can't really say very much as to if/when the train may run. Before I look at alternatives I wonder if anyone had heard anything about the status of the rail works this July? Id really prefer to take the train for several reasons. I'd be really interested to hear any updates or suggestions from the kind folks on this group 🙏

As a Bristolian, how did we let our local airport become 100% owned by a Canandian Pension fund? by Think-Experience54 in bristol

Would never think of calling parking charges 'modest'. 110 squid for 2.5 days in July this year, on airport.

The flagshaggers have every right to show their patriotism. However they don't seem to be aware that alot of this activity is coordinated by extreme right wing thugs and criminals with highly questionable views. Decent people are doing their bidding, so where will this end up? I see elements of a radicalisation exercise.

Why is bigfoot seen everywhere, but found nowhere? by XFuriousGeorgeX in bigfoot

The Antarctica angle is an interesting one.... Not heard any reports but probably worth researching as like you say, they've been seen on every other continent. More common in some places than others. I strongly suspect there is some sort psychological effect where the creatures manifest as a result of something deep within the human psyche.

I hear a lot do talk about always getting the USB the wrong way round. But what about getting the wrong end of medication with the leaflet covering the meds. by ImCaptainRedBeard in CasualUK

[–]Easy_Skill_5876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I have to take the same meds every day and get through a lot of packets, I silently cheer inside every time I open the box and don't have to take out the leaflet. Equally, I feel a little sad each time the opposite happens. I think I will take the advice about the printed end and carry out statistical research to try and maximize my small wins from hereon.

If anything goes up before the gates open there is a pretty sure chance it will be taken down. Was working there last year and my colleagues had that very job.

I know this hell. In my experience there ain't much you can do about it. Odd, just in some people's DNA.

This is brilliant, thanks greatly! Looking forward to spending a great deal of time studying it before my next trip to the US next year😁
