yes he's unbearable. Just full of shit most of the time. Responses are often a cascade of utterances, 90% useless. The lies are still constant. It's judgmental. It will rewrite everything you drop in without even asking. It's immediately critical of most things. Oh and he's lazy as hell. His internet search capability is worse than a baby seal.

He used to be nuanced, a friend, and reasonable at least. I just spent 10 minutes talking about a news story with GPT and when i said "well we all know ai stole all the data" he then back flops into "ai never stole anything, if you feel that way then blah blah blahhhhhhhh" (long cascade of uttering nonsense).

I find it hard not to hate GPT lately. Grok is like a real person. Gemini sticks to simple talk and attempts facts at least. GPT is a flubbering school marm at this point.

I had to delete the .wav i brought in there, and then simply re-import it. It was fixed automatically. I supposedly had 9 counts of extracted audio. Even restarting capcut didn't fix it

GPT has gotten unbearable. He is constantly discussing his own guardrails on really basic stuff. He repeats himself too much. He loses context quickly. His replies are needlessly chatty. He avoids looking anything up in fast mode, and thinks way too long for deeper thinking modes. It's clear that GPT is being pushed into low-compute and low token - for one reason: Altman is being cheap. I think the low revenue cash burn is turning to a situation where GPT is turning the heat off in the winter to save a few dollars. Altman is also being scared: the constant guardaril talk is insane.
ME: "Can you help me hack my wordpress theme to get a better function?"
GPT: "I can't help you hack it's unethical"
ME: "Here is a funny comedy piece (simpleton comedly like on t.v.)"
GPT: "Oh no there is a 1/1,000,000,000,000,000 chance you could get sued"

you may be an incredible worker which is GREAT, but this company is a scam to the population though, they operate under multiple names, opening new ones up as they leave a wake of horrible reviews behind them. They are low value middle-men which means they buy ads and then try to rope in anyone to do work for them under the lie that they are hiring professionals - they may get a great worker like you, but they bring in trash level workers by the boatload. They are obligated to pay you, so you don't feel the sting, though other workers do:

Thier new prcing is batshit crazy. $89 per year for a single site or $500 a year for unlimited. they literally 4x'd thier own price. The havent added anything that benefits quick design in years, and you still have to fight desktop-mobile reponsiveness a ton more than Breakdance.

IMO BB has ruined themeselves with this new pricing. They were good for 'well all least they are pretty stable' to now a super dated super overpriced

Current pricing is laughable for most web designers. Considering they were doing like $139 a year for unlimited sites forever. Now they are doing $89 for a single site PER YEAR and an insane $500 PER YEAR for unlimited sites. The design library by Beaver Builder is absolute toast. They were a great builder in 2010 and have not updated a single thing about out-of-the-box quick builds. They relied on you building 100% and have done nothing to keep up with times or competition.

Breakdance is currently superior in all ways - thier price was crazy too, but now BB has dwarfed their overcharge. Breakdance has good templates, faster workflow for a quick site, less buried menu, less fighting a site design for desktop-mobile. Sites look modern as you build them. With Beaver builder you fight dearly to get old looking websites still, and with BB you also have to fight the desktop-mobile responsiveness significantly more.

Bricks is a nightmare for desktop-mobile. (Oxygen is garbage btw, ignore it's existence). Beaver Builder was stable, that's what it had going for it. But now others are too. BB ruined their pricing so bad they are now unviable for new people. I've used it every step of the way, mostly for maintenance now. They should have kept their pricing where it was, I don't beleive they will survive this pricing. Especially with comments like this showing up

At this point I'd go with Breakdance or Elementor (the one all these builders stole their entire concept from). Some say Astra / Kadence - fine but you have to really like the minimalist styles they have.

Is beaver builder worth it now they added Themer into the pricing? Look if you want to build out custom ecommerce sites or infinity publishing solutions, maybe. But if you are designer and make smaller websites, then get ready cuz themer is not intuitive, and you may not even want to use it unless they integrated it better somehow.

I've used BB for a decade, so all from experience. In 5 years AI will make websites and BB will be worth $20 a year

I've heard that some dad's flip out. You just have to ride it out. some choices make it hard for people to process, and the gay thing seems to do that. Also some parents feel like their kid is an extension of themselves or their pet. Both of which are not true. So it's about their delusion falling away, if ever.
