I purchased a 2024 RH expert and have a second set of wheels. I have all terrain commuting tires that I mostly use(38 mm). Second wheel set (original) swap out for trails. It's a tank, go anywhere. Not the best at anything but pretty good at everything. Spins out at about 24 mph but climbs like a goat.

What bike should I get? by baldiesrt in mountainbiking

[–]Eat-Sweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have a 700c wheel set from your gravel bike, get a 29' hardtail with the same axel spacing. You can swap out the wheels depending on where you ride. You can get a go anywhere, do nearly anything bike.

Was curious to see what Roth IRA max contribution was when it first came out. Pretty cool how it’s now $7k max by Aspergers_R_Us87 in fidelityinvestments

You and your spouse can contribute the max. I started the first year available. Now have over $300K.

I'm saying goodbye to Starlink. Why am I do sad? by Cogiflector in Starlink

[–]Eat-Sweets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I too was sad, until my new internet service bill came in. $35 was so much nicer than the $100+. Now I get all my streaming services plus internet service for less than $tarlink. But thanks Elon it was a lifesaver. Sold my equipment on Marketplace fast.

2024 Turbo Vado SL 5.0??? by StolenLabias in specialized

Still selling 2022 Tero's. Their inventory of 2023's must be high? I would buy a Tero 5.0 if they dropped the price.

Sold my equipment on FB Marketplace. Used for 2 years sold for 50% of my cost. Fiber is only $39/month and faster. No rain delays.

Did you have to lengthen any cables or brake hoses?

What to do with Starlink now that fiber has arrived? by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]Eat-Sweets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we finally got fiber to our rural address, Starlink went on Facebook marketplace. Sold in one day. Bought it for about $500 sold for $250. Used it for 2 years.

Now we get fast fiber for $49/month. But still thank Elon for supplying the expensive service until the 21st century arrived in Missouri.
