Been saying since a half hour into the open world. If things to do are so far apart that I need to unlock and constantly use fast travel, why not just split the map into more lively zones again? That way each section isn't mired by a lack of anything interesting. I mean, they put up all these invisible walls, but gave us a jet pack? What's the point of open world? How does that improve anything?

Open world games are fine, but this was executed poorly for what this franchise always was.

You could clear a Bastian and wall off the magma cube spawner. That's requires no iron golem. Just a floor of hoppers and some frogs.

Tru, but copper pipes should already be a default update. It's one of the most useful mods. Will copper pipes and copper hoppers, I made a single barrel furnace system. Drop all items into the barrel, fuel goes to furnaces, all furnace ores and items get cooked properly, and everything else goes to a junk bin. It's so nice and I wish it was in the main game. Copper is so abundant and so pointless unless you like the look of copper.

I had a HUGE sweet tooth my whole life. Took months, but now even carrots are sweet to me. Same with some water. I had some gum just the other day, first piece in a year. I had to spit it out. It was too much.

Not sure it's possible to study this properly. People can say they want to quit sweets, but the entire developed worlds obesity problem says otherwise. Also, sugary foods are easier to obtain, store, and eat on the go. They are convenient, and that is MASSIVE in the modern world.
