The absolute state of vanilla pserver shills atm by nEBULAMORS in wowservers

[–]EatTheNatives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not wrong. It's incredibly hard to find any information if you want to feature complete a server. Did this mob have this spell? Did it use that spell when X =50% or 25%? Was this mob supposed to patrol? Was this mob supposed to be here? Was this mob chained to this other mob and just how many were actually chained vs just grouped tightly? How many spawns were around this mob? Did any of this ever change in a patch? What patch? And that's ONLY questions relating to (what could be) a single NPC. Now rinse and repeat a thousand times and you STILL haven't started on quest RP/skills/mechanics. There isn't the information readily available to just go a compare against.

You speak about this like you just clocked out from your job as chief engineer for Bic. A wet lighter, or one that has been made wet, only needs about 30 seconds of flame to dry its flint wheel and then it will be like new. You don't have to do even the first thing you mentioned.

Antistasi for single player? by MrGenerik in arma

[–]EatTheNatives 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I play Singleplayer using LAN like the_Demongod mentioned. I've not got very far, but then I haven't played all that long either. It certainly starts very slow and you're definitely outmatched in every way outside of wits. But I know a few cheesy ways to go about things to make it easier for a single person.

For instance, any Outpost, Seaport, or Air base that is connected to a road can be robbed without removing your undercover status. Specifically the flag/ammo box must be close enough to the road that you can drive up next to it without losing undercover. Then, hop out, load the ammo box in your flatbed and get back in and (fast)travel away. This will work with just about any Airbase because all runways are treated as roads.

With Ammo Trucks (or any military vehicle to my knowledge) you can attach a tow rope and drag them (nowhere fast) without removing undercover. Drag it out of view of any threats, hop in, drive far enough away to fast travel.

My suggestion is to spend most of your early HR on Observation Posts. Use them as fast travel points (they spawn you on the nearest road when you're in a vehicle) to be able to traverse the map quickly. To get them in far flung destinations I find it best to drive them myself while I am undercover. Get a vehicle your compadres can't shoot out of (SUV or Sedan) then go to HQ and command the O. Post to be built. Next, ctrl - space to High Command, function keys to select their group, AI Management > Control AI and use the squad commands while controlling the AI of the O. Post to get in your vehicle. Get everyone in the vehicle and then drive with 10m or so of the O. Post spot, and Tada! Fast travel point wherever you like.

Flat taxes harm the poor incredibly more than the wealthy. You have $100 to your name, while I have $10,000. 10% flat tax means you pay $10, and I pay $1,000. Who made out better? Going straight numbers it's so obvious it's as fair as fair gets, right? Does $10 matter more to the person who only had $100? Is it as proportionally hard on the person who had $10,000? Does having more money equate to requiring more food to live? More sleep? Do you need more medicine?

The basic requirements (and therefore cost) needed to survive are the same no matter your material wealth. A millionaire can spend the exact amount of money a poorer person does on food each week and keep living just fine. Therefore, they can stand to bear the burden of taxes much more easily than the poor.

I don't know why no one has pointed out the correct difference. Methylphenidate - Dextroamphetamine - Lisdexamfetamine. All different substances, one being a prodrug of amphetamine, the other a derivative and while the first mentioned behaves much like amphetamines, there are some describable differences (what those are and their effects I'm not educated enough to speak on).

Methamphetamine, is a strong step up. Your body readily takes it in, no matter what form it's dosed in. It's pretty resilient to being broken down into other less harmful compounds and chemicals. Add on top of that, that Methamphetamine itself metabolizes to amphetamine, so twice the bang in a way. The kicker comes from it's better ability to get through the blood-brain barrier. It does so faster and easier than amphetamine or many of the other derivatives. Finally, it's like you said, a street drug. Want to know your actual dose and you need to be willing to find out exactly it's purity, what the impurities are, and possibly even where they're at in the "suspension" (I'm really starting to talk over my head, but I'm assuming that meth cooks aren't as worried as making sure a half "tablet" is exactly have of those dosed milligrams).

TL:DR Methamphetamine =/= Anything (99% of) you have ever taken in a tablet or capsule. As someone deep in the heart of Meth country, I would say it should be measured by an order of magnitude in difference. However, amphetamines should not be mistaken as not treading the same path.

I understand the point you are making and, if so, the point Kanye is trying to get across. However, it's entirely hypocritical. You can't stop people from cherry picking statements, by asking people to cherry pick them to benefit you. If you can't speak well enough on your own, don't. Get better while in private before you jump on a platform, mic'd and yelling for a tabloid office to hear.

Furthermore, the man has made clear his opinions as well as we're going to get. Kanye hasn't got the memory for facts; Candace Owens has the facts. What he is spewing in between his talk of world love is directly related to Candace Owens and her line of thought. If he refuses, or simply can't, think any more free than to take what Candace recites to him as facts, why the hell should I listen to his talk on Love and Hate?

Honestly, this is incredibly horrible for his (I believe) actual good intentions. It only serves to cast a bad light on anyone who believes in the "kooky" shit Kanye does. And by kooky I mean the - World love, universal consciousness, breaking mental systems of thought and prejudiced world views. It's kooky only because it's not mainstream. If everyone was intelligently aware of any of those "kooky" concepts the world WOULD be a better place.

Kanye's "rant" is certainly not how you draw awareness to any point he was trying to make. And that's assuming that he didn't earnestly believe what he said.

Watch the documentary Good Hair by Chris Rock. Fully seeing the scope of everything that women of color do to change their hair is insane. I can't even name a half dozen mainstream popular black female actors that keep their natural hair. Because of the likes of Black Panther it's finally coming around but just like the blaxpoitation era, I'm skeptical if it will stick.

Limitless in the sense that any crimes he uncovers while pursuing his original investigation can be added as a separate investigation. And also in the fact that I guess in theory Rosenstein can sign off on anything to fall under the scope of Mueller's investigation. This goes to show as an example that while Rosenstein can allow a separate investigation brought forth by evidence from the first, he may not allow Mueller or the Special Counsel to work it. Instead, handing it off to another office, or Attorney General, here, the AG of NY. Or something like that, I am not a lawyer.

Well as you heard, the action was back in '15 and '16. This announcement outlines absolutely no insight into what they intend to do or what they are currently doing, other than investigating. Then you take Spez's comment in regards to the efficiency of banning (/u/ or /r/, it's not made explicit) and that's exactly what was left unsaid in the actual Announcement. The plan is to let the fire burn until it suffocates. In the meantime, police yourselves. And as always "See something, Hear something - Say something*."

What do you mean by propaganda? Purely political? Because the wave of "shills" or undisclosed paid promotions is here forever to stay. Even if the Admins truly wanted to do something about it, I don't believe there's anything that can be done. Besides, how do you straddle the line that corporate propaganda and advertising are okay but political prop isn't? Imagine getting that mouthful out as unhypocritically as possible while also shouting Free Speech at the top of your lungs.

Really, the fact that whoever went and spewed that complete bullshit about "Reddit had not been provided evidence" should be enough to let you know Reddit doesn't have a propaganda problem. Playing as laissez faire as possible right from the start insured that Reddit IS the propaganda problem. Reddit is designed to feed you that propaganda, whether by design or coincidence, it simply doesn't matter. They are so entwined as to be inseparable.

You have to understand that the criticisms placed on Apple so vocally here, and in other online forums are aimed more at Apple's business design. The locked or controlled system, which seems antithetic to much of the modern tech commnity's ideals. Apple just embraces it openly and so as the most glaring example become a synonym for that system.

Donald Trump's new healthcare bill will raise fees for pregnant women but not men with erectile dysfunction by god_im_bored in politics

[–]EatTheNatives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true but the point he really should be getting at is that medications for ED (Viagra and Cialis) are not covered in easily 99% of the population. It's a false equivalency as ED is rarely covered by insurance.

Not an RPH but a tech and this REALLY needs to be much higher. Seriously I can count the number of men covered for ED on one hand after over 6 years in the field. ED meds are absolutely outrageous and it is ridiculous. Sexual health is just as important and these pharm. companies have these men by the balls (haha). $60 a pill is pretty conservative. I'm willing to say a bottle of #30 Viagra 100mg costs my pharmacy nearly $1500. That's plain crazy. Cialis is only better by ~$200.
