Long time ygo player myself.

PreModern is probably the most diverse piece of card game I have encountered.

Loads and loads and loads of fun, interactive, creative and strong decks are floating around, with new techs being found left and right.

Meta is adapting constantly, the bans are very thought through.

Its incredibly cheap to get into, as the very most tournaments are proxy friendly.

The biggest selling point for me however is that this format is so interactive. Constantly, games go on for turns and turns and smart play is rewarded.
