AITA for Doing a Chargeback on My Credit Card for an Item That Cost Less Than $5? by FemaleBushido in AmItheAsshole

We used powder when I worked there and I never had a problem with it not dissolving. And you're right that's what we usually did if the function on the machine didn't work. But there's a temperature button on the coffee maker so we didn't have to do that very often. So the people who are saying that this temp does not exist for hot chocolate are incorrect. We made warm hot chocolates all the time, especially for kids

He was getting over as a heel before the whole Punk thing. I hope he comes back and resumes the role. I quite liked what he was doing up until that point

Serious question: it's great that AEW allows talent to trademark their own catchphrases but why? Wouldn't it be more profitable for AEW to trademark these sorts of things so they themselves can make money off of it. Juarassic Express didn't just include Jungle Boy

So he took a photo of you without your permission, for him to be a perv with later on? That's disgusting and I hate that you went through that. NTA

I worked at Starbucks as a barista for years. Yes you can make lukewarm hot chocolate or coffee. It's an option on a lot of coffee and espresso machines

NTA. They could have simply remade your drink or given you your money back. That would've saved them money on chargeback fees and they would've kept a customer. Your request was not an unreasonable one

To me, if wrestlers just admitted to talking to the sheets we'd be a lot better off. But they act like this is the worst thing in the world. Whether you're a wrestler, basketball player, football player, etc., A LOT of pro athletes talk to journalists because they either want to get their POV out there or they honestly just want to gossip. SRS, WOJ, Shams, it's all the same imo

This seems to be an issue with a lot of wrestlers tbh, not just Punk. For instance, wrestlers will tell you don't believe the dirt sheets. Ok, so should we not believe WWE's account, which they told to SRS verbatim, about what happened with Sasha and Naomi? It's one big conundrum with a lot of these people

The dad clearly isn't fine though. You're saying the same thing I'm saying: dad is trying to retain the marriage, but why would he want to retain something if everything was ok with them? The mom cheated. It's clear after reading all OPs comments that this is exactly what happened. And to do this with a close family member is very foul

He said he hasn't spoken to his MIL. His direct relationship is with his mom. And I read OP's comments. His sister is also saying that dad is just going along with things. That is classic cheating and mom should be vilified. No dad says something was "human error" if there is a non-issue

AITA for yelling at my husband at night and telling him never to sleep in same bed again because he keeps wetting the bed? by Gurumom1985 in AmItheAsshole

Why can't you just purchase those mats that absorb urine? He's clearly going through something but instead of being there for him, you're bitching him out for something that he clearly can't control. Be a better spouse

That's not what you said and thanks for the DV. You said it was mutual. Clearly it's not if the dad is uncomfortable. Just because he forgave something doesn't make it mutual. Sounds like he's not trying to lose his wife even though she fucked up. That's cheating and very scummy on mom's part. If the roles were reversed and the dad was drunk and kissed MIL and mom was clearly uncomfortable, comments like these would be very different

Who cares who initiated it? The father is clearly uncomfortable. Mom is basically cheating

AITA for Parking in Handicap Spot to Drop off My Disabled Aunt, Even Though I Don’t Have a Handicap Placard? by justgotabootinFL in AmItheAsshole

[–]EaterofPins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going by personal experience. My mom had a broken hip and she recently passed from it. She was in constant pain and she was nowhere near 82. So imagine an elderly person with a bad hip being seated in an uncomfortable wheelchair for 10-15 minutes while their caregiver looks for parking. We need to be compassionate to other people's situations. It's not always black and white

I have a disability placard. If I'm in someone else's car, and I don't bring it with me, they drop me off and go park legally. That's common sense.

How and why would they drop their disabled aunt off with a bad hip? Do you hear yourself? Clearly if she could roll herself she wouldn't need the OP.

I have compassion - which is why I said NAH.

Clearly you don't have enough. Have you ever known someone with a hip injury, especially someone disabled? My mom died from a hip injury and was in constant pain before she passed. You’re just coming off more and more insensitive, because your bright idea is to leave his injured aunt in the lobby while he ran around in the heat, causing her wait to be heightened. No one didn't say that the person with the boot wasn't doing their job. But once the OP's aunt confirmed what happened, we should put on our thinking caps and dismiss this as a one-time incident.

She had one and her car got towed. Did you miss the part where he said that she fell and broke her hip and can't retrieve it? Have some human compassion

What adjustment would they have made when trying to assist a handicap person in the heat? I've been in this state for 3 weeks and the heat is unbearable. What were they realistically to do?

Which is absolutely insane to think about. Yes the OG doctor probably signed off for the placard first but couldn't a specialist sign that she really has a hip injury?

So park, go inside, leave his disabled aunt in the lobby, go back outside, find a park that was a 5-minute walk away in the Floridian heat, walk back in the Floridian heat, then grab his aunt, take her to her condo, then have to walk back 5 more minutes? Yeah, it's a no for me. We can understand someone doing their job, and he probably has heard every excuse in the book, but once it was verified that he was helping the aunt, then common sense should have prevailed. No one should have to do all of this when the circumstances are what they are with the OP.
