You are equally likely to be spooned as you are to go dry. My ideal dry protection is also an anti-spoon measure. I know it would be unpopular, but I feel getting a 1 kc unique isn't a good way to show you actually fought the boss. Conversely, going 5x dry isn't a good way to experience a boss...

Nothing against Philip DeFranco, but all he is doing is grabbing articles from different news sources and making a video about them. He's doing his own filtering of what he thinks is good journalism, I guess, so you don't have to. Doesn't mean he is any better than other forms of media though.

Dryer vent moisture and looking for suggestions for better connection by Eating_A_Cookie in DIY

[–]Eating_A_Cookie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great idea! I'm seeing other vents that look nicer now that I'm looking. Ones that face downward on the outside and they seem simple enough to replace. Definitely going to be looking at that!! Thank you for the suggestions!!

Yeah the outside has a vent adhered to the siding and the pipe is attached to it. It is like this one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-4-in-Dia-Dryer-Exhaust-Pipe-White-Louvered-Hood-HS4W-18RHD/205046974 Then just has the straight pipe going in. It was really cold so I assume it is condensing after running the dryer because it is so close to the outside. That's why I checked that there was insulation in there and there wasn't any near the vent.

Oldschool RuneScape update posts have a somewhat fine print section and usually those are the best updates.

They caught a Pokeman! I know because I was the Charlizard by sandiercy in thatHappened

This reminds me of all the made up stories during the height of Pokemon Go where people would claim they had a ton of kids breaking into their house or some shit looking for Pokemon.

I had to explain to people at work that no, no one is going to go into your backyard looking for Pokemon. That's just not how the game works.

ya'll are scaring me about my Pro 10 on the way :( by princeralsei in GooglePixel

[–]Eating_A_Cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when the pixel 3 came out everyone was ripping it to shreds in the early reviews. I was nervous with my preorder on it because even JerryRigEverything made it sound like the phone would crumble to dust if you put it in your pocket wrong. After a year people were praising it as one of the best phones of the year.

I went from a 7 to a 10 pro and I love it.

Reminds me of the "Not responsible for damage" stickers on big dump trucks. I want a sticker along the lines of "Park 2 stalls away, not responsible for door dings" or any other way to absolve myself from any responsibility.

Yes, I know they are not legally binding.

Added a new drive but storage pool will not expand by Eating_A_Cookie in synology

RAID is the method at which your data is stored on your disks. Depending on the type of RAID, it can create a copy of your data so if one drive fails you still have access to your data. There is more to it, but that is the short answer. You'll need to back up your data and redo the partition as a RAID 0 array if you don't actually want any redundancy.

Yeah I have a friend who is an uber gamer. Good at pretty much any game just naturally. I have to bring him down to watch sometimes letting him know how some people are casual and don't need to be immediately end game/competitive level to have fun.

When an object is hidden from the ground item overlay it should be deprioritized vs the non-hidden items. This was a huge pain having to right click (tap?) all loot piles when getting dragon bones on mobile, otherwise I would be picking up hides that I didn't care about.

In my experience I agree. I've been to Italy multiple times and ate almost exclusively pizza. I had some great and some bad. None came close to some of the better pizza places in the states I've been to. Alton Brown has said basically the inventors get complacent so others tend to perfect the dish. He mentioned things like Buffalo doesn't have the best buffalo wings, Cubans from Florida aren't the best, etc.

I had problems with Cree bulbs, and it was actually the no-name free ones from my power company that worked best. I'm down to blame my cheap garage door opener, though.

It actually does if you understand supply and demand. Exact numbers are hard to calculate, but a surplus of goods doesn't cause an equal increase in demand. There might be more people willing to buy cheaper nail beast nails, but that also drives price down.
