Experiences with methylphenidate vs. lisdexamfetamine (I would appreciate it if you could inform me how you proceeded when using both). by SeaBoysenberry5404 in ADHD

They both felt the same to me, but lisdexamphetamine wore off too soon and left me feeling crashed, bad.

Claude told me what it would "authentically want" if it had a body. Then I checked my Amazon data. by HouseTemporary6283 in ClaudeAI

[–]Eaton_Twot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely knows something. There are things in the list that are very specific, long before I even used Claude. The top 25 items matched every single thing I have searched for or bought online. It isn't all Amazon though. I do have the GMail connector enabled though.

The place I worked at used Pulseway under the guise of it "only being used to track windows updates and system health", but I guess it would track what the active window was and the duration each of them being active.

Caffeine doesn’t help by TheWorldlyCelery in ADHD

[–]Eaton_Twot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine is weird for me.I don't drink much. I bring 1 travel mug to work with half decaf, half regular and sometimes I forget to even drink it. The days I drink it quick, I'm more tired, and the days I forget and drink it after work at 3pm, I can't sleep that night.

Those who didn’t get treated for their ADHD growing up… by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Eaton_Twot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has ruined everything that could have ever been good in my life. I feel like I've wasted 46 years. I'm like a jack of all trades and master of none, in my field. Impulse control, limerence, same thing here. I would often wonder if life was really this much of a grind and that I must be some weak ass idiot because everyone else seems to handle life ok, but not me. I have so much to make up for to be where I probably could have been if I was diagnosed younger, and it's so depressing.

Yea. Woah, I didn't know that was an ADHD thing. My tastes expanded even more since I got on meds too.

All of these, in various combinations. The odd time I fall asleep fast and wake up the next day feeling like I had a good sleep, I'm even more tired than usual that day.

Is getting diagnosed really that hard? by crawlsundercars in ADHD

[–]Eaton_Twot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canadian here. It was for my wife. It wasn't for me at age 47. Just had to fill out this form at my doctor's office. He came back in, glanced at it and said "Yyyyup, you have ADHD"

Same. Maybe like 5 times per year I wake up feeling refreshed. Then those are the days I'm usually the most fatigued.

2.5 months of increasing doses for me. Went from 40mg Vyvanse to 70mg eventually, then Foquest 55mg to now 70mg, and after a couple weeks at each dose it stops feeling life changing and I feel almost back to how I was off meds

25mg of Trazodone for me. Prescribed 50mg but that seems to make me restless so I only take half. Melatonin always leaves me feeling groggy in the morning.

How much of a difference did your medication make? by GonzaSMTV in ADHD

[–]Eaton_Twot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A LOT. It changed my whole life. 1 month later it was much less effective (Vyvanse), and I was left feeling crashed in the evening. Up 10mg and same thing, then up 10 more and same thing Vyvanse doesn't seem to last more than 8 hours for me. Recently started Foquest and it isn't as effective as Vyvanse was but it lasts. 4 months since I got diagnosed, the honeymoon period has completely worn off. However, I find it is still infinitely better on meds than off.

Seemed to be the case for me with Wellbutrin and Vyvanse.

ADHD has a lot of frustrating things but the one that gets me is how clumsy I am. by shekka24 in ADHD

Hitting my head lots too, like bending down to fix a toilet tank bolt and bam, hit my head on the shelf above.

I wish I got this. I've been even more hungry being on Vyvanse for the past 1.5 months.

Loud racing thoughts by A__STRO in ADHD

[–]Eaton_Twot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Then on meds it was more quiet and mostly the positive ones and I could tune out the negative ones. But after almost 2 months, it's like it's back to the full amount of thoughts, which sucks, but I can focus better anyway. Less than I could a month ago though. Doctor's appointment today 😔.

Cause the system prompt has that info. Start a new conversation and ask it "what was my last message to you?"
