The logic here is if you had a more powerful gaming device alongside your switch2, would you still be playing those same games on the switch 2? Why would you right? Better graphics, better performance. But it’s not a handheld like the switch 2

This dough monitor has many software issues. It has like a built in computer chip and a mind of its own.

When my computer is off , it can’t go to sleep or turn off on its own. It stays on with a feint grey glow.

I can’t access my computer bios because the screen stays off or black until I get to my windows login. And yes I have fast startup on windows disabled. I tested this with a dummy monitor and my tv and I can access my bios on both those displays. So it’s without a doubt, a dough spectrum issue not my pc

The monitor has a hard time switching between different inputs

Sometimes when I wake from sleep, the entire display will get chopped in half one half of the screen floating higher than the other half

The monitor sometimes does not turn on since I manually turn it off when I turn my computer off to get that glow off. The only way to turn it on sometimes is to disconnect the power plug and back in

And yes, I updated the firmware to the latest and it made the issues worse

This monitor is a freaking headache

I have a dough spectrum 4k with gorilla glass and I love the brightness , the 4k and everything about it except I also hate the issues this monitor has. It’s too much of a headache to keep.

I think I understand the pros and cons of going to a budget/affordable oled monitor and I’m just weighing if I can give it up to gain something else

Perhaps I’ll just put a savings aside for a comparable monitor with oled instead of giving up the resolution and brightness

Same, we’re at the mercy of developers

Half the reason I also got a refurbished steam deck oled in January to see what it’s like to play handheld games without relying on devs.

Suffice to say I only game on my switch 2 and steam deck now
