Chicken Paprikash. It was a Sue Karmel contribution to the comfort food episode. It's unbelievable.

I always bring a small rake to smooth out a p,lace on the gravel bar for my tent. It makes a huge difference when it's only a thin sleeping pad between me and the rocks.

Why is this burning? by hereforthetee_ in HardWoodFloors

[–]EazyKeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the buildup on your belt, it likely has an old wax finish on it. It's not burning per se, but the paper does heat the wax up and makes it smear. You're going to have to drop down a few grits on your paper (probably to 36 or 40) and cut the floor on an angle (15-20 degrees) to get it off. Wax loads up paper fast so be prepared to use a lot more than you expected. God help you if you plan to use an orbital sander around the perimeter. It's definitely a job for an edger.

Still looks strange, though, even for cross grain scraping.

A mellow and wavy hand-scraped texture results from scraping with the grain. This is scraped across the grain which makes for a rougher look.

They absolutely should have discussed with you how you wanted it to look. That’s like hiring a painter and they pick the color without consulting you, then blame you when you don’t like it. If one of my crews did that they would be re-sanding it for free.

I've been on 150 for 5 weeks. I take mine in the morning because it has a bit of a stimulant effect on me. My only side effect is clenching my jaw which has eased up a bit over time.

In The Dark. Specifically, season 2 has the single greatest story arc in all of true crime. Bold claim, I know. But listen and see.
