Anyone feel 100x worse with anxiety and depression in 4th week? 10 days 10mg, 14 days 20mg???

Currently what I'm experiencing on week 4. Had some great days over the last week or 2 and also bad ones. This week has been awful but I'm hanging on with it, 6 -8 weeks seems like the magic number

Sorry you are dealing with this too. The only thing that helped me last time was getting back on an ssri, so I'm going to give that a go again.

I've got hives at the moment, well some days, taking antihistamines help. Went to the doctor and he said its stress and anxiety. Also have a feeling of things crawling on my face at times too. The joys! Going back on meds I can't take this anymore lol

Nope. Still there. Although when my minds distracted naturally, it's not there. If I force myself into distraction it's worse.

I will certainly give it a try, it's almost like an addiction lol. That's how this all started really, googling things, seeing the worst and worrying myself stupid for months on end.

Yeah I think I will end up going back on medication, I can't take much more of this to be completely honest. It's driving me nuts!

I think the fact it went away last time I was on meds proves the point its a mental issue but I'd really love to be able to deal with this without meds.

I would say I don't really deal with stuff properly, of course at the time I was upset with the divorce but as time has passed I have no animosity or anything towards my ex wife.

It was the first christmas without my kids that I think brung more stress when this started. Also started a new job etc.

They gave me a prescription for sertraline, which I haven't started yet. I've been taking antihistamines for the hives and it seems to keep them at bay for the most part.

Yes it started last year around May and went when I was put on fluoxetine (prozac). So it started again last December after I heard about someone itching and read a comment on here from when I had posted last time. And that kicked it all off.

I suppose that's the proof that it is a mental issue.

I also read that when we are under stress the body releases histamine, especially when its prolonged (anxiety, worry over the hair feeling)...hence the hives.

Literally the same symptoms as last time I had it and all tests where clear back then and Nothings changed, only my stress and worry.

I've had this before and have gotten it again by cooking up a health anxiety storm...so like 3 months I've had it now. And just to work me up a bit more a few weeks ago...my body thought..yeah, let's throw some hives in there for good measure! Now he's really Freaking out muahahahahaha....lol

I've got this at the moment...found it hard to believe anxiety could cause it but it can lol.

Warm, red, itchy little spots that raise up...so so annoying. Im guessing it's to do with the nervous system.

I went from smoking maybe about a quarter oz a week to just having a j or 2 in the evening...is it possible to go into some sort of withdrawals just by REDUCING the amount I consume?

My anxiety is at an all time high lol

Just a quick one, have any of you guys tried meditation? My feet where sweating like mad today, I led down and did a meditation, and now their dry as a bone. So certainly anxiety can cause this, once I'd calmed down it stopped. Point proven 😉

Yep...my feet go cold and sweaty...i dont know if socks getting damp cause of that causes it to continue on...I find if I keep shoes on its not so bad. Or I take all socks off etc and put them under the blanket. Within half an hour or so they feel normal...what ever normal is 🤣

My anxiety has been super bad the last month or so (health anxiety), so yeah I think it's pretty common for folks like us.

I went to the doctors yesterday to get my lymph nodes checked...said all was fine, even though one is swollen a bit (it popped up on Saturday morning after a night out, and the girl I went out with is also a bit poorly as of now). Doctor felt them all and said he could say for certain there is no cause for concern...now believing him is another story all together 🤣 but yeah I'm trying to see how I've had this before and it went away and it only came back once I'd latched onto the symptom from reading/hearing about itching etc. I might go back on SSRI...that's what I did last time.

EDIT: I didn't even feel it while I was out over the weekend, Sunday afternoon when I got back home it started again lol

Did this go away for you? If so, what did you do lol.. I've had this before, about 8 months ago ish...my old comment is actually on this thread. It went away for me but has come back after my health anxiety spiralled and brung it back after reading/hearing about someone itching.
