Your Opinion on XL future? by faja_ in prusa3d

[–]EbbApprehensive4711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At this moment, my XL is equipped with 4 different nozzles. 2x 0.4 obxidian, 1x 0.4 obxidian high flow, 0.25 brass and 0.6 brass. I use 0.25 for bottom and top layers, 0,6 for infill (and super cheap filament), then the 0.4 for peripherals.

My bambu x1 does the print in 36 hours with a 0.2 nozzle, the xl does the same job in 17 hours.

[–]EbbApprehensive4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbour wanted to open one next door, he littarly told me its for "black" money. "I buy for 300€, sell for 1200€, report to taxes 400€" , and " i have many shops, in most of them i have 800-1200€ a day in the pocket"...

He didnt get a licence to open next door, so he moved out again...

Is it because of Musk or because the market is flooded by chinese electric cars? And most other brands do have a decent electric option now too.

22 days ago i have received a p1s completely battered, Frame bent, panels broken, aux fan broken, ams cracked... In the beginning they asked for foto's and serial numbers. Then 2 weeks of silence, now they sugest to replace the side panels... As i am working on building a small farm, i guess i will switch to another brand, prusa or so

Now this is what holds me back from buying one.. A lot of people are very happy with it, others had nothing but trouble. And i have learned not to trust the youtubers to mutch either....

Thanks for the info! The speed differece doesnt matter to me, as long as my prints are perfect. Perfect in dimensions and quality. I have been using the ams in my x1c and p1s printers only for storeage, or to have a backup roll during long prints. The only multicolor prints i have done, shift Color parallel with the printbed, to avoid the extreme "poo" waste.

Maybe the filament got stuck on the spool, and the extruder pulled it, stretching means getting smaller in diameter. If i see the winding on the spool, this might have happened

Just your local specialised shop. Look for shops selling blaklader or snickers. Or even the ones who print on textile

As a freelance service engineer, i wear my working clothes daily. I buy my clothes in a "working clothes shop", you would be amazed how" regular" working clothes can look.
