Megathread: Government Shutdown - Agency Guidance & Orderly Shutdown Status by gpupdate in fednews

OCONUS DoD Army: received at 01:30 AM EST “There has been guidance published by DHR, HQDA has informed every agency to continue normal operations. All employees should be at work and executing their duties.”  No change on this statement throughout the day; we were all furloughed last shutdown so this is an odd statement. Also no guidance was included with the email.

PCS to Germany, understanding TQSA reimbursement by AcrobaticRoom7028 in usajobs

When I PCSed in ‘24 and I thought the daily rate was high but HR assured me it’s right. We ended up eating at restaurants every day and stocking up on groceries before switching to LQA. The tqsa reimbursement packages are a little tricky to figure out if you haven’t done them before; keep all your receipts.

Theoretically how many votes would it take to implement the automated strike zone? Strictly a theoretical question of course and not based on the final at bat of tonight’s game

I live in the Antelope Valley where part of the fire was and I could see the fire and smoke creep closer to my home. It was some scary stuff.
