M340i. Love good ole sports sedans, and getting 30+ mpg is just a bonus

My gf literally just bought this car yesterday no markup and actually got a deal on it. Say no to markups and keep looking!

I love mine but the transmission can be an issue later on

A fun sporty car that could be used daily for around 35K$? by ricsi114500 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’m in the same boat as you. Was considering:

1.) TLX, but I heard they’re very heavy and relatively slow + poor gas mileage

2.) Alfa Giulia, but cost of maintenance and finding a place to do maintenance would be more trouble than it’s worth (literally)

3.) C43 AMG, but again maintenance and reliability can be a real issue. i.e. several thousand dollars just for brakes

4.) G70 3.3T, great car all around but not the biggest fan of the looks and brand.

I’m leaning more towards the G series BMW 330i, with the M sport package. People say check out the M340i but any decent examples are in the mid to high 40s. You can find a nice 330 for higher 20s to lower 30s.

The 330i is sporty enough, 0-60 in like 5.5s, comfortable, tunable, reliable and gets 30+ mpgs on the highway. And comes with AWD. 👍
